Thanks to ag2000 for starting up the TSCC Clearance thread. I thought this is HOT enough for it's own post.

I did a search of the GTA and there seems to be alot available.

Not the greatest cordless, not the best but at .97 cents - WELL worth the price.

its BS called atleast 10 stores no one have in stock. online inventory is screw up thats what they told me. also told me it went on sale on thrusday and most of them were sold out on thrusday and friday. so try your luck but make sure tell the guys at TSCC to make sure they have inventory before you drive there.

I went to Fairview mall this morning, there were around 12 sets. When I was opening the boxes to check , one lady came in and told the sales she want all of them. The sales said she could only pick at most 4. Then the sales picked another 3 for another 2 customers and kept remains for there store.
I had one in my hand, I was lucky. Then I thought why I couldn't pick one from what they kept for there store? They just left all of them on the floor. So I did.
Now I own two sets. But before I left the store, the sales already collected all the remain sets. You will not find anyone left in the Fairview mall.

did you do a test to see if the internal battery on this still works? they might be clearing them out because the batteries are close to dead/already dead. happened with a spotlight I once purchased. too long on the shelves, I assume.

Charged mine over night. I have been using it to put together my BBQ (With a thousand parts) and it's still going strong.

If it broke tomorrow I would feel I got my money's worth.

As for stock, Oshawa was supoose to have 15 of them yesterday, they did and they had 13 when I left with my two. They are signed/tagged as CLEARANCE @ $6.99 - even the CSR was taken back by the price.

I got mine this afternoon at Square one Mississauga location. There were atleast 4-5 more when I left. Tested mine..works well so far.. :)

The best part of the trip was when I walk to the register with all 3, and the sals guy says "these work great, I got mine on clearance for $10". Then he scans it, and has a look of shock on his face and actually says "holy *****".

I price checked a different one (in person) at the Meadowvale location and the clerk asked if i was looking "for the $0.97 ones" "yup" says I

He said they had some before but they were faulty and had to be sent back to the H.O.

who knows??

I assume you are the one who cleared out the 7 from County Fair (and potentially the 7 from Arthur St, someone cleared them today too), including the one I had on hold since late Monday night. Kind of annoying they took it off the hold shelf to sell it, but I guess that is what I get for waiting till after work.

Picked up 2 yesterday from a store that only showed 1 in stock online.

They had clearance labels stuck on with tape, showing $6.96. When they scanned at that price, I pointed out the website price and got them for $2.15 all in. Thanks fasteddie41 and ag2000. :)

Been to 4 different stores. so far from the experiences and replies from the employees, all the ones you see with several left at the store online but OOS when you go to the store, means employees are keeping for themselves. Also got 2 other good stuff:
