I have seen SLR, Rolls Royce, Maybach62, Murcielago LP640, etc on streets in Korea. Think the prices of the cars get doubled when they import it!
ex) S600 is about $300,000 which you can buy 2 of them here.

Silver SLR McLaren ... saw one one on 401 as well going home from Richmond Hill.
Saw a Blue Ferrari F430 convertible on Bayview.
I myself liked the F430 better, cause it was right beside our car.

Have seen the Carrera GT 3 times over the last 10 days or so, although I think it was only 2 different cars. Twice on King St. West, and once in Richmond Hill.
I also think I saw an SLR a while back on Yonge St., but I'm honestly not sure.

Porsche Carrera GT at my work's visitor parking lot - probably one of the major investors or top sales guy's.
few years back, I was going south bound on DVP - on the north bound, at least a dozen Lamborghini's were zooming by, probably going to a meet... that was quite a sight.

I saw Grave Digger the Monster truck drive down Walkers line on morning on my way to work like like a ton of cops around it going where it was going.
Read in the paper the next day that some kid won a ride to school in it.

Nothing too exciting here in Ottawa. There's an F430 around the Nepean area of Ottawa that I've seen a lot this spring/summer.

Lexus IS-F (nothing special but the first one I've seen in Canada, it was blue btw traveling past Royal York and Dundas)
BMW M3 E90 (again, nothing special but the first time I saw the new gen here)
M5s, sort of common as I tend to see one every couple of days in Markham/'Sauga
Audi R8 (A silver R8 exiting a hotel)
F430s
Enzo
A couple of Maserati GranTurismos downtown
Mercedes SLR (was really unexpected as from far, the front first looked like an SL to me but the engine could be heard a couple of blocks away)
Aston Martin DB9 Volante x 2
Murcielago
Gallardo x 3 or 4 times
A few black R32s (Initial D influenced or something?)
A white 599
Bentley GTs ( Speaking of which, there was this Bentley GT driven by an old guy that I would see on my way to school. He would park illegally on the side of the road, and change his shoes before taking off. Really weird since I've seen him like 6-8 times doing that but not anymore)

The rarest I've seen on the street was a Ferrari F40 on Dupont a long time ago, it was heading to the Ferrari dealership that used to be there. That's the only time I've ever saw the F40 on the street. I was too young to recall if it's got a license plate on, but it is certainly a F40. Are they even street legal for Canada?

I was just at Pebble Beach (California) the other day and they were having an exotic car meet. People were driving there in all sorts of ferrari's, lamborghini's, porsche's, mercedes', audi's and bmw's. But the ones that really caught my attention were the Spyker's and Maybach's.

I just got back from Europe and can say that I've seen almost every single exotic (minus the Enzo)...
In Cannes, while sitting at a cafe, a black Bugatti Veyron drove by ...
A day before, while in Monaco, I can easily say that there was an auto show in front of the Casino. I might post some pics when I get them off the camera, but some of the cars worth mentioning were the SLR, RR Phantom (numerous), Lamborghini Murcielago/Gollardo, Ferrari F355/360/430/599, Bentley GT, AM Vanquish, R8/S8, etc ....
At the same time, I had the privilege of taking the Ferarri 360 for a spin on the Monaco F1 track ... :)

I used to see a Ferrari 612 quite often where I used to work... funny thing is, the driver was an ~70 year old woman.
The owner of the ford dealership used to drive a ford GT, but no more :(
Not much aside from that, a couple of quattroportes around, F430, continental GT, etc
I think most of the people with money here are in the automotive industry so they have to buy their brand's viper/vette/cobra.

Have seen the Carrera GT 3 times over the last 10 days or so, although I think it was only 2 different cars. Twice on King St. West, and once in Richmond Hill.
I also think I saw an SLR a while back on Yonge St., but I'm honestly not sure.
Saw the same Carrera on King St. near the King Edward Hotel. It's bigger than I thought in person. Too bad it was parked; I would have needed to change my pants if I heard that thing accelerating.

In Europe, I saw an almost endless list of supercars. Hell, I spent a Month in Munich and saw almost an R8 a day - sometimes several in a day. I suspect though that I was seeing some of the same cars over a months time. In fact, the funniest thing I think was that I was walking home from a bar at ~2am and there was an R8 just parked on the street, all alone, with the regular cars. I can't imagine anyone would park and leave a car like that out overnight here in North America. Also saw a Phantom (hotel owned) several Maseratis (in Portugal) and a couple Lambo's.
Here in Toronto, I've seen R8's and Lamborghini's on the DVP. I actually drove side by side with a Gallardo from the 401 to the Gardiner.. hehe. Bentleys and Aston Martins are pretty common (relatively speaking) in my area too (little italy) so I see about one of those a week.... However, being a Lamborghini fan I'll put them down as the best car I've seen in Toronto.
The most expensive car that I've seen was actually one that I helped build. I guess though that it being in the factory, it doesn't count as it wasn't on the street. It's not totally released yet, so I'll leave you guessing for the time being

I was driving ;) Although there is very few clear stretches of the road, we found one stretch just north of the casino where there were no cars and I used that opportunity to "gun it". I was loving the sound of the engine roaring behind me that I didnt even pay attention as to how fast it got up ..
Uh if you just got back but also drove on the Monaco "track", how long were Europe exactly? Monaco isn't a permanent track, it's a street course, and is only built/used for one weekend a year, in May...
Sorry. I should have been more clear. There is no 'track' at the moment .. however, the 'route' we took, is the same one as outlined for the F1 race.

There is usually a Rolls Royce Phantom parked on the south side of Wellington, about 100m west of Bay / Wellington, right at RBC Plaza. I am guessing it belongs to a VP, or the president himself.
If you work downtown in the financial district you see nice cars all the time.
There is a dark cherry lambo I saw rolling up Yonge Street.
Saw a black Maybach race a Vanquish down York St to Front. The sound echoing off the buildings nearly blew out my ear drums.

On the street, the most impressive sights I have ever witnessed included intersection at the Monaco harbour: on three of four corners-F430, and 2 360s.
Not to be out done, In the parking lot of the Four Seasons in Monaco: Gallardo Spyder in front of a Bentley Continental GTC in front of a RR Phantom. Two cars away was an Audi R8
Though the best laugh we had was in the tunnel where a F430 was being passed by a Mini Cooper S, the guy got pissed and tried to catch up and pass the mini, but was pulled over by the cop while the mini escaped into the distance.

The crazyiest thing I have ever seen on the streets..... was 401 going to the 427 north under the over pass I see VERY VERY low HID's under the bumper of my SUV....... and its completely riding my rear..... and behind that I see another set of HID's riding him.....
I pull over to the right and its an orange Murcialago and a black Porsche GT3 the porsche was on rims staggared with black centers huge polished lips! had to have an exhust cause my dads boss as the same car and it don't sound like that.

A Murcielago or Countach (can't remember which) at the mall on Steeles just West of the 404
I've seen the Ferrari 360 Modena a few times, only time I remember where was parked downtown close to Castle Frank station
Multiple sightings of Porsche 911 Carreras, but I think I've only ever seen 3 911 Turbos before.
Use to be a red NSX parked in my old neighborhood on my friend's street
A Ferrari 599, some Mercedes (think it was a CL65), and a Bentley rolled up in front of my school one day, during our lunch period. People slowly came out and started checking out the cars...and then the drivers started giving out cards and flyers for a dating site  ...then the teachers, VPs, and principals came out and after a while and told them to leave or they would call the police  . The principal had to make an announcement about it the period afterwards telling us to be careful:lol:
A Maserati (I think it was a GranTurismo) cruised by me on the 401
A white Porsche GT3 on Kennedy slightly north of Denison
A yellow Lotus Exige on Kennedy slightly south of 14th

I've seen a Maybach parked outside Rossini's restaurant on Avenue Rd. There was no driver so I assume the owner was driving himself / herself. No class man - you gotta have a driver.
It's funny to hear about all the high sightings in the 'bridge - those cars are worth more than the average house up there!

It's not "the best" by almost any measure, but I used to see a DeLorean a lot on the 401 west of the GTA. I've seen lots of expensive sport cars, but considering you can buy a restored DeLorean starting at from $30K, it still gets a lot of attention and looks from the public for the price.
C'mon, admit it... you want to sit in one and drive it to 88 mph...

What's the aftermarket support like on these vehicles? I mean, how difficult would it be to obtain a flux capacitor?

Various R8s, the odd RR Phantom and two Maybach 83s. I don't consider Porsches rare by any means anymore. I saw what I think was a Porsche Carrera outside of Terra in Thornhill once. It had all these "g-something" accessories on the engine. I totally spaced on the name though.
I wouldn't mind a few more GT-Rs or NSXs on the road though.

In Ottawa, nothing special like you people in Toronto. But I have seen Audi R8, around 11 PM near Merivale. Seen a Ferrari (forget which model) in a neighbourhood of Prince Of Wales. Also seen RR Phantom, near the Hunt Club area. He parked and went into Walmart. Also seen Bentley continental near University Of Ottawa. And at times Porche 911, Boxsters.

Saw a Mercedes SLR license plate "BG JR 500" or something like that the other day. Caught up to see who was driving it because they were weaving in and out of traffic. It was some young punk kid about 19 and a girl in the passenger seat who looked a little like Vanessa Hudgens.

I should stop going to Woodrbidge, every time I see it I think about how I could be driving the A5. I went with the Poor Man's G instead, 3.5SE '08 Altima Coupe.
Next year my brother will be taking over my sister's '08 Nissan Altima Coupe 2.5S, she wants a BMW but I will try to see if I can convince her to get the A5.

Some new additions to my post from earlier in this thread...I saw my first R8 on the street a few weeks ago. Quite a nice looking car IMHO. Very low and sleek. I don't remember clearly, but I think I saw a Lamborghini Murcielago some weeks ago also. Just tonight coming home I saw a very good condition white Nissan Skyline R32. Saw the usual Porsche 911s (for a "sports car/super car" this really isn't rare, probably one of the most common ones), and saw a red Nissan GTR, that was driven pretty quickly through traffic; driver looked to be quite a young dude.

Obviously these are the cars that I have spotted. Unfortunately lugging around a SLR sucks, so I have to resort to my P+S all the time... (Living in a decent neighbourhood also helps :))I wish I could have captured all the amazing cars I've seen. I have missed so many decent spots because I didn't have a camera on me.

Oh, I just added it in because I didn't see a Autoshow thread. Me thinks we should start one :)
Screw you and your press pass??? (Or so I think...)
I got into the F-car section but didn't have a wide enough lens to take pics of the interior. FML.

This pic is the most re-posted fake BS pic. ever. (Not fake in the sense that it's Photoshopped, but the fact that someone thought it'd be funny to park their $1 mil. USD Enzo in a crappy house and take pics.)
Otherwise, I can't explain why someone would have a <$700k house and an Enzo. Maybe he is an investor that knows that the Enzo will not depreciate over the span of 100 years haha.
Just like some houses in North York that have 997 Turbos and 3 Mercs , or a Lambo/F-Car with a few BMW's in a barely 1 mil. house. <-- Ballin'

I've been lucky seeing cars over the last few years (all in Toronto/Durham)
There is a Masserati that shops at Loblaws QQ that I see all the time, and one in my building's parking garage. Lots of Lambo's out in front of my condo at Yonge/Blue Jays. I did LOL recently when a LS rolled by my inlaw's place in a suburb of ~250K homes in Bowmanville. It just seemed out of place to me.
I've recently seen some Bentley's, and a Phantom, but never seen an Maybach, or a Zonda (my favorite, but I don't think legal here anyways).
When I was in college at a summer job (4-5 years ago) I was working at a Tim's on the highway right near Mosport, and after race weekends we'd see EVERYTHING. My favorite was a pair of red/yellow Maranello's rolling up. My boss was a car guy too so we'd take a quick break any time a nice one rolled in.

Oh c'mon now this is just parts sharing from being [formerly] part of Ford. It's a keyless entry transmitter, not a huge deal. Heck even other manufacturers probably use the same OEM for various transmitters I'd imagine. The V8 Vantage doesn't share a platform with any Volvo, or anything like that.

Yeah but the difference is 6-7 years from now her house is still going to be worth $120k (possibly more); the car is going to be worth less than half that over that time.

We are not talking about depreciating value...but rather the price it cost each person to purchase, at the time it was purchased. We could go to the extreame and say that in 50 years, the car will be junk and the house will be worth $300,000.
Why must people try and prove each person wrong, show they no more, and pick apart every detail of every post? Sometimes things are posted as a form of humor, or to make a point. My point...my boss makes way more than me and can afford a car that I can only dream of. No need to disect the post and try and prove that I am wrong. It's just an observation that one might say while having a few beers with friends.

I was on Orfus Rd. waiting for the lights to make a left turn onto Dufferin and saw this pass by. Loved the sound and view when he zipped through traffic. It had state of Illinois plates. Was a real head turner, watching peoples' facial expression waiting at the bus stops, their jaws just drop to the ground lol.

SLR: Midnight at Yonge & Sheppard, I was waiting for the light as the SLR made a right turn and gunned it. Looked like an sl from behind, but I knew it must have been SLR because it sounded like God's thunder in a silver body.
Enzo: Exiting out of Bayview Village Mall in 2003 around the time is was first introduced.
Diablo: Behind the gates of a house on Post Rd.
Numerous others while I studied in NYC: Maybach, Gallardo, F430, SL black edition, DB9/Vantage/Vanquish, Exige, Phantom, Continental GT, Quatroporte etc.
Cars yet to be seen: Koenigsegg CCX, Zonda, Veyron, Porsche GT...perhaps I have to be in Dubai before I get a decent chance to see these cars.

Was on my way home the other day with my family in the TL when I stopped at a red light on Rodick going north on Woodbine. I was on the left lane when this bright light came up behind me and switched to the other lane and stopped beside me. It was a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. I was contemplating for a few seconds on gunning it just to see how badly a V6 can be beat by a V12. :D I decided against it since I had the family in the car and didn't want to risk a racing ticket. The guy gunned it though and good thing I held back! All the wife said was "whoa!".
Markham is definitely money. I've seen too many Ferraris and Lambos in the area. Seen a couple of GTRs too.

I saw a silver Mercedes McLaren SLR going northbound on Bathurst to hwy 7
(most likely it's my hubby's friend's boss who also owns a Bentley, Rolls Royce and a chopper and I believe he's about to add a "private jet" to his list of toys....)
Whenever I'm around the Willowdale area, I keep on seeing:
- clean cut oriental guy in his "Grigio" colour Ferrari F430 ( seen him about a dozen of times....)
- Nerdy looking Oriental in his Lambo Gallardo (a handful of times)
- A lady wearing a fur-looking coat in her Rolls Royce Phantom ( about a handful of times.)
- A few of the south asian guys driving a Nissan Skyline (one in blue, a black one, another in silver.. and there was a purple one with a right sided steering wheel....) ( saw around the Scarborough bluffs area, Brampton and up in the cottage country area).
Apart from that, I've seen a few of the following cars in the past year (just counting 09/10 - in Toronto/GTA):
- Aston Martins ( DB7, Vanquish, Vantage)
- Lambo ( Murcielago & Gallardo)
- Lotus (Elise and perhaps the Exige) (Etobicoke area, I've seen a few of them... and they're quite annoying looking..)
- Alfa Romeo (Spider) ( Leaside area)
- An Austin Mini back in August.... that was odd.
- Jaguar XKR
- Maserati.. blah blah.
- A very old Fiat back in September.
- Porsche(s) ( your typical boxsters, 911, GTs.. then theres the Carrera & their first 4 dr sedan: the Panamera (3 times))
Last but not least, I saw a pearly PINK cadillac cts yesterday....
Oops! I almost forgot to add this bu a neighbor of mine owns the -Back to the future- car..... Yes, it is the DMC Delorean.

the same combination was put into the 89 tubro trans am (TTA)
that car is one of the few cars that APPRECIATE in value. if you buy a ferrari right now, you will lose money, if you buy an old ferrari, it will depreciate some more, this car will appreciate. there were many made, but over the years theres less and less, especially for sale, this is a gem.
i already asked to buy that car, as have many many others. i am hunting on ebay for a gnx as they are more of a head turner car than any honda/toyota even the nsx/skyline (probably just as a head turner for the new gt-r but thats a diff story)
Oh, so people are paying a lot of $ even for a 23 year old car just because of its "collector item" status?
not just collector item, but just a beautiful fast car. this car will gather up conversations whereever you go as it is american muscle with McLaren ingenuity

I don't care that she owns it, but what I do care about is whether or not she knows how to appreciate what she has
The modern Ford GT is by far my all time favourite supercar, I will take it over any modern day european exotic

No but the convertible is. Just came out, haven't seen that on the road yet. Seen tons of the original R8.
I wonder when we will see a LFA in Toronto.
The SLS for me is quite an ugly car. The nose is too long, emblem is weird, just an overall not appealing car.

To be honest with you, I highly doubt if that car was in Toronto, there would be a front plate. To put it simply, if you're driving that, the police don't bother to pull you over and you get away with not having a front plate.
I've seen it before, nothing new (the lack of plate).

Spotted last week along the AB/SK border/road in Lloydminster:
Orangish WRX STi "Spec N1". Whatever that is.
Blue 2010 Chevy Camaro with some variant of the Hennessy SC package. This car sounded insanely powerful as he was pulling away. Probably one of the higher spec packages short of the 1000hp package because 1000hp would cause empty gas tanks along highway 16. Would speeding down the border be breaking laws in 2 provinces? :D
Both with BC plates.

Apparently, the most beautiful car in history too :)

I've always liked the "frog" car. The suspension on this car was quite interesting and is said to have delivered a very smooth ride.

Nicest car I've seen here in Alberta is a Masarati MC12.... then there's the lambos/ferarris, odd aston martin and bentley.
But definitely the MC12 takes the cake!

The number of rare cars in this city really surprises me. I know there are at least 4 SLRs that have been sold here. There's been sightings of a McLaren F1 GTR. The south side has more BMW/MB/Porsche than you can shake a stick at.
I miss seeing the 1957 Corvette that was running around last year.

Was driving along side one a few weeks back... so quiet.
In other news, I'm in Beijing right now and I've seen quiet alot of baller stuff including a Lambo LP670-SV, Gallardos, RR Phantoms, Bentley CGTs... there are alot of professional athletes who live in my community and right now there's a F430 outside.

Saw a silver Mercedes SLS AMG downtown Hamilton around 7am last week. I was suprised, don't see too many fancy cars around the area and I didn't know it was released in Canada already.
I also saw a white Bentley Conti GT at Yorkdale, not so common nowadays. But the front fender was cracked, and there was a dent in the door....:(

This month i saw 2 458 Italia , one grey murcielago spyder, one white gallardo spyder. There is also a big white phantom with white mags on jean-talon near cote des neiges, didnt see it for a while now. Alot of nice cars can be seen close to Toyz Autoart.
Yesterday at ~10pm i saw my first R8 spyder, BEAU_TI_FUL ! Love the wheels. Montreal is not that poor after all LOL ! What surprises me the most is the number of bmw's M 2009 and up, i see like 5 or more everyday.

Somebody a few houses away from me owns a yellow Lotus. I've seen a Ferrari and Audi R8 at my local gas station on several occasions when filling up. While at Chinatown I saw a parked Rolls Royce which was unattended, wow it was big and it didn't have plates, stared at in awe for a several mins. Other than that, I haven't seen that many exotic cars on Mississauga roads, its all mazda 3s, SUVs, and beater mini-vans.

I have been seeing a black Ariel Atom in downtown Toronto over the last few weeks with Ontario plates....I don't know how he did it?!?! Usually at rush hour in the evening. Yonge st, Bayview sightings. I need to find out more about the person who owns this car, I would seriously like to talk to him about being first in line to buy it if the owner ever decides to sell it.

Well to be honest, I'm wasn't actually scoping around the city finding expensive cars, just mentioned ones I encountered on the streets in my area.
Good to know where the rich neighborhoods are, I may try to give it a visit some time.
edit: bored so I did a google street view of Doulton Drive, wow the houses are impressive but the only cars I saw on the street are all minivans and toyotas, guess the owners would keep their exotics in the garage.
Was driving next to this at Dufferin and Steeles to Centre Street area... was some young asian dude. :o

Attention Canadian Buyers: **Transport Canada deems Ariel Atom vehicles ineligible for importation into Canada for the purpose of use on any public roads, at any time. **
