I am with FIDO many years and currently with no contract. How could I help my girl friend to get a good plan from FIDO too?

since you have no contract....its kind of hard to argue something through retentions.....
but just check out the retentions thread on hot deals for fido and see what you can pull

or option two

work for a company with a good EPP

the watch & talk in the eaton center was desperate to have me sign up, they threw a bunch of stuff at me and after negotiations I ended up with

150 anytime
unlim. even &weekends
unlim. incoming
for $20 + tax+saf...

you just have to negotiate a lot

what i did with my rogers activation was sign up and threaten to cancel my contract with them before the first 30 days and they'll ask why, and just say you saw a better plan with telus or bell and they'll ask what they're offering

So are you saying you been with Fido for quite some time and would like to get a good offer for your girl friend? I think it would depend? is she new to Fido or you could always get some sort of plan where you both share the same plan. and it would be under your name or something.
