Sorry, new to cell phones. If I was not interest in getting a data plan or surfing the internet, would it still be a good idea to get a Nokia N95? and what's the difficult between N95-1 to 4?

Hey, I actually just sold an N95-4 on RFD. It's a great phone with alot of functionality. In your case, if you don't want to get a data plan, you can still use the phone as a multimedia player. However, if you want to take advantage of the GPS functionality I believe you require a data plan. If you are looking for a "fancy" phone and you are only interested in voice, then the N95 isn't what you need.

you can still use GPS without using data if you preload garmin mobile w/ maps onto the device.
Agree with the rest :)

I have outlined the main differences between each of the N95 models on this thread:

I disagree with the two above posters. I think the N95 is a very "fancy" phone both in terms of functionality and looks. People always stare at my phone and ask what it is, and then when I use the dual-flip there's a huge GASP. Also, if you are interested in voice, no one is as well known for call quaity as Nokia. If you aren't looking to use data, you still get a 5 MP camera, bright LED flash, recording DVD quality at 30 FPS, GPS, WIFI, full BT stack, big bright screen, stereo speakers and most importantly you get S60 which has many useful apps to offer.
