I'm on Virgin Mobile, if I buy any CDMA phone, will it work on Virgin Mobile?

I'm thinking of buying a phone from Bell or on eBay, is there such thing as unlocking for CDMA phones? How about Virgin Mobile USA phones, would that work, or are the only phones that work are those issued by Virgin Mobile Canada?

Thanks.

Bell/Telus phones will not work on Virgin Mobile. You cannot use another CDMA carrier's phones on the CDMA network. They block them for some reason. You cannot unlock them to work either so you're stuck with the limited selection you get from Virgin Mobile.
I'm not sure about Virgin Mobile USA to Virgin Mobile Canada though.

As far as I know, all phones from virgin mobile don't come with a SIM card? Therefore you can't just buy any phone and put your SIM card in?

No. SIM cards are for GSM networks only.
