I see the same question come up, "who can recommend an honest mechanic?"

Lets compile a list broken down by City: IE Mississauga, Brampton, Toronto, etc.

I'll maintain the first post and we can all post feedback of our experience.

They are extremely honest, Bill Gilmour is a great guy who tells it like it is and won't do unnecessary stuff. They primarily do commercial trucks and vehicles but service any make of passenger car.

What is the standard of the "honest mechanic"? Should it be just fillings of the satisfaction or clear factors like price, service level, quality? Look on my post in this tread. http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=522553
People recommend mechanics that are trying to rip you of immediately. Prices 2-3 and even 10 times higher then industry standard from Alldata, but they still recommended by some guys.
P.S In my opinion it should be table - Name and Address of Mechanic, Date, Job Name, Labor Cost, Parts Cost, Satisfaction Level.

In the Pickering/Ajax area, the best kept secret is Ron Oakley, owner and operator of Rebound Automotive, on Shaw Court, off Westney Rd., south of Bailey. They know what they are doing and are not "fishing for suckers" like most "stealerships" (and many disreputable "chain" operations) are. They have plenty of "honest" business to keep them going. Both him and david are great guys. Only bad thing i can say is "Why cant they be closer to downtown toronto lol>:(

All I have to say is Chi has the most patience in the world. I had my coilovers installed and my bolts were siezed to the max. Also had my whole exhaust system front to back. He took his time and made sure I left satisfied.

I'd recommend my mechanics - Jebsun Motor at 33 Redlea Ave., it is basically right across Pacific Mall (416) 293-4526 / (416) 399-1323.

They are usually really busy though so make sure you make some sort of appointment before hand.
