That seems to bring them in line with Westjet's 50% off seat sale.

Pro: Don't have to pay Pearson fees.
Con: It's a tiny plane.

The legroom is 34" (i.e. very good even for tall/big people.

The plane is small, but seat space is big. The later matters.

So a Lear Jet (private jet) is tiny - does that mean it sucks cause it is tiny ... Porter Greatest airline out of YYZ

I'd put the tiny plane as a pro...

Faster to board and unboard.
More legroom than some big airliners.
Can use smaller runways. (a big plus if there is lots of traffic on the runways!)

I doubt any plane bigger than Porters Q400's would be able to take off and land from Toronto City Centre.

I just landed from Toronto to Montreal an hour ago... I love porter!

Posted, thanks!

I have only heard outstanding reviews of Porter Air (lots of legroom, complimentary in-flight drinks, comfortable lounge with free wi-fi.) The last people that came to visit me in Toronto said, "why can't ALL flying be like Porter?"

The only negative I can say about Porter has to do more with the location of the airport in TO. Great at all times EXCEPT from 3-6pm in the afternoon if you're trying to catch a flight. I almost missed my flight as the traffic to get on the Gardiner made it next to impossible to get to Toronto Island... Literally checked my bag 15 minutes before the flight left... Now that is something you can't get away with at Pearson!

how is that a con? porter has more legroom than economy section of westjet/ac... not to mention far superior service, food, etc

last time i flew from ytz to ewr i was amazed that i actually got a meal... served with proper cutlery and glasses and everything

porter is really the way flying should be.
