Remember shipping is only $5.99 from NCIX so it may still be worthwhile.

You can either pay $2 in PST, or pay $6 in shipping. At NCIX, it's $37.78 to your door now, $22.78 after MIR. This one is $28.24 now, plus gas if applicable. Plus, the Voyager one is somewhat fast; I couldn't even find specs for the Duracell.
The real question here is, are you a real RFDer, or would you rather just pay the extra $6 and get the thing now?

Not really..its $5.99 on over 1000 products (see edit)....I made the same mistake...
anyways with shipping and after rebate and taxes it does come out to 22.78$
Edit: The 5.99$ shipping is NCIX promo on this surprise sale....dont know how long it will last.

Thanks for pointing that one out samson . If you say the speeds are better, I think i can wait for the rebate to come in. I'd like to use it to move some DVD-ISO's around that are 6-7GB in size, so speed will be an issue for sure!

That might be an issue. I have an 8gb as well, but the bloody things are FAT partitioned. It will not accept files over 4gb in size. I cannot find a way to make it NTFS.
Its a real PITA.

Bleh... mail in rebates :(
Retailers should follow FS/BB and abolish all MIRs.

Great. Never even occured to me to do that. Thanks for links. NTFS now, although it seems i will always have to go through the removal dialog now. Nothing is ever just perfect.

Not really.... It's $5.99 ground shipping on all orders. It should last for the entire week (up until next Tuesday). Ground shipping is free if the order is over $1000. Either way, I guess it doesn't matter now since the Corsair drive is OOS.
This deal definitely isn't as hot as the Kingston 8GB for $10. Price errors are amazing.

+1 for getting rid of MIRs, but also -1 in that MIRs are the cause of possibilities of price errors... :D
did everyone forget how most of FS/BB/stooples' price error deals came about in the past...?
