Did a search and all the places that carry them in Toronto are either out of stock (Naturopathic Clinic and Noah's), carry only the steel color (Europebound) or does not carry the 40oz size (Big Carrot).
Does anybody know of any other retail locations in TO that carry the Klean Kanteen bottles in the 40oz size and has the full selection of different colors?

You know Chinook is not the only brand selling these now. They have them at Walmart for $8.

That's amazing that you can't find one!
I see them everywhere out here, House of Knives in the mall, my local grocery store, the health food store etc...
I just did a quick search online and found this Canadian store that carries them:

I am not affiliated with the store in any way, nor have I shopped there...

So far, the only place in TO that carries the full array of sizes and colours is the Big Carrot on Danforth@Broadview. To be specific, they're actually missing the 40oz size, but I was told that they were sold out and should be getting in some more.
I droped by Lululemon and they said they should be carrying them soon as well.

New Balance Toronto carries them as well as Sigg, not much selection but there is always something in stock usually in a couple different sizes. I think they are all roughly $22-26

Hey thanks - just called them up and they carry the full array of sizes and colors but apparently in Toronto at least, no retailers are getting the 40oz sizes in "kolor", just the regular steel version. So I guess I'll have to wait it out until they release the kolor versions for the 40oz in TO.

maybe you should start a thread for group buy from their official website...if you get at least 5 ppl....the shipping will work out the same as buying here with paying tax

The webstore www.goneshopping.ca has the Klean Kanteens in stock. They are having a back to school special and the original ones are 15% off. Sadly the Colourful ones are not. However, I prefer the original with the neoprene sleeve as it keeps it cold for a long time

I don't have much to contribute cept that I have a friend who owns one. It doesn't look amazing, nothing close to the sigg. It is just a brushed aluminum/steel bottle with a good lid...
What is it with people and their willingness to shell out big bucks for like sigg bottles or whatever? I know people don't like their BPA, but why the heck do people pay like 20-30 for a metal bottle? It's pretty ***** sounding, to me...especially when people are so crazed about their bottle looking good or something...a bottle ain't a fashion acessory unless it's a belt flask

OP - not sure if you're still looking but I just came back from Sporting Life and saw a lot of the black 40oz bottles for $26.99. One of the best prices I've seen for this sized bottle.

I saw some Klean Kanteen bottles at Home Outfitters at the First Markham plaza, they have the limited edition breast cancer pink bottles too.
I also saw orange and brown ones, not sure about the size though, i'm pretty sure I didn't see the 40oz ones though

I'm guilty of that. I think we're all a little vain, aren't we? We don't just buy clothes that fit and feel comfortable; we take into consideration how it looks as well.
I looked at the KK bottles and the price difference wasn't that great. I may be a victim of marketing but I also liked buying from such a foreign place like Switzerland. I'm starting to sound like that woman from Ajax with the big house complaining about the bus noise.

I have a couple of them, very nice bottles. Expensive yes but they'll last a long time I'm sure.
I got both of mine at Running Free in Markham, last time I was there they had blue, black, stainless, and pink ones.

I have a few of these bottles as well, and use them daily. However they are just $20 metal containers, and have no thermal retaining properties. I found that the $10 stainless steel insulated thermos bottles were a better deal. And they keep my water cool all day.
