Shoes for standing all day

Anybody have recommendations for shoes for those who have to be on their feet all day long? It's gotta look professional as well.

Would dress clogs be any good?

If you're looking for a boot, try Blundstones. I wore a pair when I had a job as a cook and they comfortable.

I would have to say that this depends on the guy's weight and walking style.

If a person is heavy or even just average size with a bit of a thuding gait, then shoes like Rockport are too light and insubstantial to provide good inulation. Especially if they have any kind of raised heel. I can really feel the ball of my foot in those - like it's going right through that flimsy sole.

All that high-tech foam and air cushioning stuff only goes so far in a dress shoe. As the hours pile up, I find there is no substitute for a good 25-30mm layer of rigid rubber between the foot and the floor.
