Bought the Toshiba Regza 42XV540U 2 weeks ago for 1350$

It's on sale now for 1299$

Can I get 50 bucks back? Sale ends in a week. The wording of their policy is a little vague... a sale is time-restricted sort of...

If it has only been 2 weeks then just bring the receipt in to the customer service desk and explain the situation. I don't see a reason why they wouldn't credit you back the $50.

This is exactly what their price protection is for - you bought it less than 30 days ago and now it's on sale. Take advantage of it.

that's true - however the item in question is a TV, not a laptop

Awesome, just got 56 bucks back :)

Their instore policy sign was a little more clear - if it's BestBuy's price that dropped you get the difference.

For a price cheaper elsewhere they do the stock check etc etc.
