hey
i did a search and I know that auto links in Scarborough does 3M, Audioheaven and FX Auto does Ventureshield but are there any other dealers?
I went to the Ventureshield website and Audioheaven and FX Auto aren't listed as authorized dealers/installers even though, based on word of mouth, they are very reliable and consistent. However, on the list of authorized dealers, I found a dealer called Paint Circuit Auto Supply Ltd. Has anyone heard of this place? It seems this is the only place in the GTA that is listed on that site. I called them and the guy who picked up seemed kind but I dunno about their reputation. has anyone heard or used this place before?
Thanks.

Paint Circuit is an autobody supply shop. They don't do installs. They sell the film in rolls.
When looking for an installer, you should also ask about the kit they install. There is different coverage on the kits and the prices will vary. For example, the ventureshield kits offer 'basic' coverage and ones with 'extended' coverage...keep that in mind.

Audio Heaven and FX are both really great.
I went to Audio Heaven for window tinting, and they were friendly and quick. Also, if you ever have any problems with their work, you could bring it back.

i noticed that the places that do the 3M tend to be more expensive than the places that do Ventureshield.
I called Paint Circuit and they said they do installs for about $399 for hood, fender and mirrors.
For places that do 3M, like Krown Lakeshore or Autolink, for something similar would cost about $1000.
why the huge difference?

what car do you have? for a 2008 mitsubishi lancer evolution they quoted me $550.00 for hood, fender, bumper, side mirrors including installation and warranty from autolink with 3m clear bra.

oh yeah, which places needs to be covered? there are so many packages that cover many areas so i dunno which one is better.
as for the prices, there was a bit of confusion on my part lol. I called auto-links a few weeks ago and that was when the group buy was still on. $499 for the extended package, which includes the front of hood, fenders, complete bumper, and front facing part of mirrors. And then they also mentioned something even higher that cost $1000. I was like wtf...and that somehow got stucked in my head lol.
so yeah....extended package good enough or overkill?

Autolink quoted me just over $700 .. similar coverage area .. Krown Lakeshore quoted me very close to $850 ... they both said this is estimate only .. have to see the car first to finalize the quote ... "could be even more or slightly less".
I don't think I have a sign hanging at my back saying .. "KICK ME ! COME AND ROB ME, PLEASE !"

hi sir,
we will never say its an estimate , if you provide us with the complete information for the car, and the coverage wanted.
the only time we will say that it may vary its if we are trying to get you a discount for multiple packages,
we always try to give you a discount of some kind or extra 3M coverage for example door handle inserts or pillar kit, if you purchase a big coverage packages,
i hope that helps with your questions and concern
