Just send them an email stating that fact, within a few hours, they'll send you a $10 promotional code. That's what I did, and I got my $10 off my "first" order. Apparently, it might not even have a minimum purchase because the item I bought was under $50. They said the original coupon actually expired on April 7th.

We don't have a Visa or use Telus Mobility, so I e-mailed customer service to ask if we could have $10 off on $50 anyway. The person who wrote back said "no," but wrote in a weird way. At the bottom of that e-mail, it said I could comment on the e-mail. So I did and said I thought the person should have explained the Visa thing a bit and asked for the deal again. I figured I'd probably be dealing with the next level up at that point, so I had a chance. Sure enough, they gave me the $10 off on $50 without needing a Visa, etc. requirement. It was only a one-timer, I checked. But my long-winded point is that maybe writing and saying, "Hey, it's not fair, why just for Visa customers" might get you a coupon as well.

Ok. Bought this today. There's a coupon code printed on the back of the label. Be careful in cutting the label off because the coupon code is very long (cut vertically along the glue seam is best). The code is unique to each bottle which means it can be used only once.

The $5 off Amazon coupon applieds to purchases of $30+ (before taxes and shipping) from Amazon.ca (this deal is for CANADA ONLY for those who keep asking). No stacking (for those who keep asking).

Expiry date Oct 31/2005.

On specially marked 2 Liter (this size only, as far as I could see) bottles of Schweppes Tonic Water, Orange Crush and a few rare flavors.

I've seen these at Safeway and IGA/Sobeys but not Superstore. The Safeway I went to still had some old stock without the Amazon offer and that may be a problem in stores with low turnover.

I haven't tried my coupon yet but don't expect any problems.

Oh yeah, either forcefully tear off that label or use a pair of scissors to cut it off. Don't use a utility knife like I did. I must have knicked the polyester bottle itself in the process because about an hour later the bottle exploded on my kitchen counter top. Quite a forceful explosion too, because it blew a lot of stuff off the counter and sprayed the contents up to 10 feet away. Sounded like a large balloon being popped. What a mess. Well, I'm glad at least that I didn't get the orange :(

I have had 3 accounts now for many years and there have been no problems. It could be argued that these are separate accounts for each person in a 3 person family. I would however not attempt to go higher than this because I have also heard of Amazon clamping down when people got too greedy.

BTW: You can't stack coupons.
I tried using $5 off and $10 off, same time.

They wait until you order with one coupon then they allow you to use another.
It's saved into your account when you enter it.

I also got the same msg when i used the MAPJANNCSAVE code at first so i emailed them and they said i had to use my VISA. I changed it afterwards but it still didn't work so i emailed them again and they said I qualify for it so they'll put on the discount after my items are shipped.

In order to apply the coupon, it must be over $50 (ie. not $49.99) before taxes. Thankfully, you'll get free shipping though on this purchase.

If speed is an issue, I suggest a pick up from Chapters. But if you can wait, just go with whichever is cheaper overall (Amazon I guess with the coupon).

You will be testing your luck when the package passes through customs. It may get pick up, and it may not (if you use USPS). But you will need to pay shipping to Canada, which is usually more than the price differential between the 2 sites. Add to that possible customs and brokerage charges, it's probably not worth the trouble.

In my past experience, I've found that customs usually lets Amazon packages through without extra charges. However, that is no guarantee so basically you're taking a risk. Also, don't forget to compare the shipping prices too, as the .com site does not ship to Canada for free.

As for Chapters, they know we all share codes and have been giving coupons to their irewards members only for a number of years now. :lol:

Although I didn't expect any of the codes above to work, I tried them anyway to be sure. Anyone looking for amazon.ca codes from this point forth can save time by not trying the codes in the posts above. I have searched and haven't found anything for them.

About the only thing you can do for amazon.ca if you don't have codes is get some airmiles on your purchase. If you go here (https://www.airmiles.ca/arrow/EarnMilesOnlineSponsorDetails?sponsorId=1054847118 847) and enter in your airmiles card number, you can get airmiles on your purchase.

airmilesshops.ca had an e-mail advertisement saying that you could get an extra 5% off using coupon code "5xMiles" - not sure if it requires you to provide an Airmiles number as well. I assume this is on top of the irewards discount.

Just after I ordered the 1¢ cable from Amazon/BargainCell, I finally opened my HDTV box and had no idea there was a VGA and audio cable included inside. The included instructions were not clear, but I eventually managed to make the HDTV my second monitor for my laptop.

The postman delivered my 1¢ cable the following week. I don't see any quality difference between the HDMI and VGA cable, but at least I don't need the separate audio cable anymore.
