where can I find annual reports of public companies prior to 1994?

I checked the SEC website and sedar.com but found nothing. The company is a US company that became public in the 70s. I'm looking for their 1989 and 1990 annual reports/financial statements if they exist...?

Are you a student? If you are - universities have access to historical annual report databases (i.e. ProQuest). If not, check with the reference library in your city; they may have access to these databases as well.
