If friend and walking or biking or jogging is out of the question, what are alternatives? Are there any express buses or airport services that take you direct to airport on an hourly or scheduled routes?

Taking the TTC (a.k.a. "The Better Way") will cost you significantly less than a cab, but you won't get there as fast and you'll have to lug your luggage from the bus and/or subway to the airport terminal. But if you give yourself lots of time, the ride can be relaxing. The 58A (Malton) bus, which you can grab from Lawrence West subway station, stops at the Terminal 2 Arrivals level. A TTC adult fare: $2.75.

Geez. Take the TTC to Kipling then transfer on bus there. I believe it's like every 15 - 20 minutes or take like a $15 cab ride from Kipling if you're late.

Go Transit runs a bus that leaves from York Mills station (with a few pick up stops in between) which goes to the airport.

Sit at the back of the train too since the bus is at the east end of the station!

Why haven't you figured this out earlier? This should be figured out awhile back, not the night before departure.

Anyways, here's my suggestion aside from TTC. Assuming you are going with friends or other people, just meet at someone's place and taxi it together. The cost would be more than TTC but you get the convenience and comfort of being with people you know rather than on a small plastic seat surround by strangers. Also remember you gotta take your luggage with you everywhere. Plus, when splitting a taxi ride, it isn't even that expensive.

Kind of strange that you would leave something so important to the last day, but my suggestion is to take a plane to the airport.

Surely a taxi wouldn't cost that much, would it?

Take the Airport Express bus that runs from major hotels in the downtown core. Travel time should be less than an hour depending on traffic and a return ticket purchased online is about $26.

A taxi would be much more expensive.

Is this for real? A Torontonian cannot find his way to the airport and has the cajones to post it on an open forum?
