Free weekly iTunes song download from Starbucks

Each Tuesday, pick up card titled "Pick of the Week" from Starbucks for a free song download. Each card has a specific code (on the back of the card) & the code expires in about 2 months. You need an iTunes account to download the song.

This week's featured artist is Kathleen Edwards, song "Asking for Flowers"

Last week's artist was City and Colour, song "Constant Knot". Here is the code if someone wants it NFLXTMTYHRWX, it expires on Nov 28. Open iTunes, click on iTunes Store, click Redeem under Quick Linkc (right panel), enter the code to download the song.

iTunes regularly has a free song of the week in their store anyway - I think that Kathleen Edwards song was there a few weeks ago.

Just go to the main itunes store and look for "free song of the week" - a new one is up each Tuesday.

K, I really want that John Mellencamp song but it's so damned confusing going through all the posts to see which ones are used. Just a suggestion but would it work better if each post that uses a code was copied and pasted by the next person, with an indication of which code that next person used by the next person so we can tell if they've all been used. It would save alot of time going back and back and checking each and every code. Anybody else think this migh work out a little better?

Just my two cents. I still haven't been able to get a Mellencamp code, even between the posters who do indicate 'used' and trying the ones that haven't even been indicated as used. And of course that was the one week I didn't get to Starbucks once it seems...grrr.

It doesn't have to be a Frapp, I got mine with my Capp. In fact you don't even really have to buy anything, you can just walk on up and grab one, I've done that before with song's of the week. I don't even think they've ever required a purchase or have anything saying they do.
