The 'mayo' on the buffalo is actually a blue cheese spread.

Pretty damn yummy I must say, if indeed a little messy. Which isn't always a bad thing. Definitely satisfies the chicken wing craving for a reasonable price.

As for the coupon printing app, it's pretty crafty. Can't print to a virtual printer (e.g. acrobat). Decent attempt at avoiding coupon hell a la Rexall last week.

As for the expiration, just go to http://www.wendys.ca/news/signUp.jsp and join the club. They'll send you your own coupon link.

Pricey for fast food -- I think the sandwiches alone are $4.79 or something. Combos are around $7. So no, definitely not cheaper than McDumbalds but that's really apples vs oranges. This is a real chicken breast with real fat-laden coating dipped in real sugary sloppy goodness.

As I say though, scratches the chicken wing itch for relatively little cash in my opinion.

Last week I was able to use a similar wendy's coupon, at the yonge and college wendy's, However today, I tried with this bbq/buffalo coupon, and was told by the "manager" that these coupons are fakes, and he has no idea who has been circulating these fake coupons, and they will not honour them!.......... I explained to him how I obtained it by joining wendys newsletter and how customers are sent these coupons from an official wendy's website, in exchange for providing your contact information etc... then he said that "someone must have somehow put them on there"???? THE F***K? and that it is 100% fake and that his manager was even at head office dealing with this yesterday and told him and the other employees them not to accept these fake coupons...., he says he has stacks of these fakes that others have come in and tried to use... he told me to call head office if i didn't believe him. then offered me 10% off instead...


Really though, I am positive these coupons are not fake, I think these stores are just badly informed. Terrible. I didn't even want to argue.. Decided to go to Harveys and use the back bacon coupon instead, which in my opinion is a better deal. Wendy's is ********. and overpriced.

I waited for almost 5 minutes because the line was so damn slow, and then when I finally got to order, the cashier bluntly and rudely told me that the coupon was fake. I explained to her how I got the coupon, and she just quickly turned around to ask her manager to verify what she was saying. Her manager yells back to her loudly about how it was a fake coupon, basically embarrassing me in front of the whole fricking line. I was so damn pissed, but I was already really tired from a long day and didn't want to waste more time arguing with those numbskulls, so I left and went to the McDonald's nearby.

Basically, I signed up for damn Wendymail and installed their stupid coupon printer application for nothing.

I understand. I put in a comment and called the head office because the coupon came from an official source, so for it to be fake would mean something fishy with the wendys website, spoke to a lady who insisted it was fake but told me should would investigate. A few days later I got a call from Headoffice, the GM there explained their has been some fakes in circulation, and i explained that if this coupon is fake the culprits are the designers of the website as it came DIRECTLY from there website, I asked him to verify for me that my personal info was not in jeopardy. He said he would speak with someone in the offices in the states and hung up. Few minutes later he called back and said he spoke to the offices in the states and was informed that thier have been some coupons in circulation however the one i recieved from wendy's mail is REAL. and that a notice has been sent out, but some stores may not have recieved it, he let me know that he would be speaking to his stores and informing them, so we shall see.

Anyhow, coupon is real, I am going to wendys again in an hour and will get my burger.

no you cant, they use a special application a coupon printer that prints bar codes with numbers on them. and only allows 2 per coupon per computer IP i guess. something like that.

Not trying to promot fast food but McDonald has good quality sandwiches with real chicken breast too - Crispy Chicken and Grilled Chicken sandwich combo are in the $6 range. I like McD's Fries and Wendy's Salads.

Well.. went back to wendy's the manager i spoke to last time recognized me and appologized and said they just recieved the promo information. so the coupons will now be accepted. He comped me and my gf 2 bugers which very nice of him, Understandably sometimes with big chains the communications of promos get lost, so All good. The buger was good too. i had buffaloo.

Takada go back and use that coupon they will honour it now.

I just got a newsletter from them with a new coupon offer, but I am not even going to bother posting it on RFD because the stupid coupon printing driver crashes on my Mac.

Wendy's really needs to get their act together!

I sent them a complaint because the last 3 times I was there the burgers were cold and dry, and they never even responded!

On top of that, their new marketing slogan is:

"You deserve a Hot and Juicy burger"!


Talk about complete irony and misleading advertising!

I don't think i'll be going to Wendy's any time soon - even though I like their food when it's cooked properly and timely!

I used to go there at least once a week, and now they're lucky if I show up once every few months!
