No not deal but some are warm.
Pioneer VSX-1018 $499.99 seems to be a good price for those who missed the FS deal at $424.99.
Is the Precision Acoustics 5.1 Speaker System is a good deal at $499.96 ?

Not. Aren't they same company but with two different names?

The are two brands owned by the same company. However, they have recently made some internal changes and are now focusing on creating more competition between the two different brands.
Some may question how effective this would be but all one has to do is look at a company like Proctor and Gamble and how they have set the bar for internal competition leading to huge profits (i.e. Tide vs. Cheer).
This may in fact lead to some better pricing at both stores since I believe they are going to go after more volume at the cost of a little lower pricing.

Well, about 3 months ago I picked up two Precision Acoustics 5" surround speakers for $40... since the two rear / surround speakers they're offering are 4", I think roughly $400 for the two fronts, centre, and subwoofer isn't all that hot.
I think Precision Acoustics are a "value brand", but I love the sound... I just think you could probably pick up speakers individually for less.

The Lowe Pro backpack is a good price. It was $29 from Henry's a while ago. I like the fact that the opening for the laptop compartment is on the side rather than the top.

yeah,... but so much for trying to be competitive when they still use the same old "we're the same company, no 110% PM" excuse...
perhaps i'll start believing that when they cease to give ^that excuse when RFDers go there to PM....
