Yes, Superstore has this game on for 49.99 this week. You can get Fable 2 for the same price.

However, the games aren't released until Tuesday. You have to wait until then.

LittleBigPlanet Faces Worldwide Recall For Qur'an References

"During the review process prior to the release of LittleBigPlanet, it has been brought to our attention that one of the background music tracks licensed from a record label for use in the game contains two expressions that can be found in the Qur'an," admitted the company in a statement.

"We have taken immediate action to rectify this and we sincerely apologise for any offence that this may have caused."

The words are:

1- In the 18th second: "كل نفس ذائقة الموت" ("kollo nafsin tha'iqatol mawt", literally: 'Every soul shall have the taste of death').

2- Almost immediately after, in the 27th second: "كل من عليها فان" ("kollo man alaiha fan", literally: 'All that is on earth will perish').

Well that certainly sucks! I'm still going past RCSS today and will see what they say. Hopefully I can purchase it for pickup at a later date. We'll see. They probably won't know anything about this in the store.

That said, I hope that Sony creates a patch so that an excellent game is not delayed...

Yes, it was driving me nuts for a while cuz I couldn't get past a certain point in the tutorial. Finally found out that you need to disable your Blu-ray remote in the XMB settings before playing.

So what if it has expression from Ku ran? All these religious bs is getting out of hand. I know they have Hindu god is there in one map but no one cares....IT'S JUST A GAME. I'm sure it has references to Christianism and Jewishism references somewhere. Why is Sony making it a big issue? Muslims are extra special who doesn't understand the difference between reality and game? I blame Sony for evening mentioning this. This world will never learn/change.:lol:

That's weird, my Blu-Ray remote doesn't affect the game unless I was using it earlier (had an extra one time). If so you can always turn the controller off (Hold down PS button and select turn off controller). I had no issues whatsoever during beta and mine isn't disabled.

I stopped into RCSS tonight and there was a young guy working the electronics desk. Seemed new to the job. He had no idea what the game was, that it was in their flyer, where it was or when it will be available. He checked the shelves and looked thru a new shipment they just got in then gave me their phone number so that I could call back and talk to someone who might actually know what I am talking about.
