im torn btween the 2...
1)is the Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB 7200rpm 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gbps even remotedly close in speeds with the WD Raptor 740ADFD 74GB Hard Drive
(Serial ATA-150, 10,000 RPM, 16MB - MPN: WD740ADFD) ???
if the spinpoint is pretty close in speeds, i'll prolly get that for the extra value hd space, i don't like my 1tb seagate, thing is too fcukin LOUD! makes bubbling sounds all the time :mad:
price is 143$ cash pickedup for the spinpoint and around 180shipped for the WD raptor
i plan to use these on regular sata ports as the primary HD for vista 64 ultimate(NOT raid setup as im not familar how to setup those)
any advice/suggestions wud b great, thanx :idea: :)
