Hey guys,
Ive heard of a restaurant in Toronto that they are actually rude to you on purpose and people go there because its funny. Like for example I heard if you want to sit somewhere where you want they go no you sit here. That kind of thing. Does anyone know of such a place and where I can find it?

No. You should add a giant [sic] to the end of your sentence too.

I've heard of a famous place like this in the States, but not in Toronto.

I saw a homeless guy in downtown Toronto holding a sign that said he would take verbal abuse for change. Felt a bit bad for him, which made his sign brilliant.

Yes, there are restaurants down south called Dicks that are just that..comedians as servers that insult you!
i've seen some Dick's restaurants in Ontario, but don't think they are the same concept.

a place like this would be hilarious. I would hope the food is better than the service, just make it that much better :)

I've been to places where the staff are sarcastically funny (without insulting customers) and it's part of the atmosphere, but really that's not my thing. If I'm eating out I'd rather pay good money for good food and good service.

There are countless "regular" restaurants where the staff are rude or aggressive to patrons.
And believe me, they aint hard to find lol.

Classic place. Even better back in the day before the renos and it was much smaller (if you can believe that) ... ask for a cup of coffee and they'll tell you to get it yourself.

At the Fran's Yonge/College location, there's one really awesome waitress with alot of sass. She'll go all italian grandma on your ass: cuss you out for what you're wearing, tell you to have better table manners infront of a woman, make you finish your food, etc... etc...
Bit scary the first time, but she always gives a smile and a wink after. She's the only reason I ever go to Fran's! If she's not there I leave.

haha hes always at Simcoe and Queen... I don't recommended you take him up on that offer, because I once saw him FREAK OUT when a bee landed on him..

there is only one place that you need to go if you want to be insulted at a restaurant....the weiner circle in Chicago. I have been a couple of times and it is crazy when the bars close for the night. Lets just say the comments go 2 ways and this is not a family place.
highly recommend you check out youtube if you really want to see what an insulting restaurant is like.

Went there twice for breakfast last year during a visit to Vancouver. I had the New Yorker both times. Yum. Wore a Leafs shirt for the second visit (just cuz! :cheesygri) Good fun was had.
Worth a visit, just get there early as the place gets busy.
