Does anyone have this? How good is it at making smoothies?

It's the one with the trademark Blu lighted bottom. It's a new model?

Where to get a deal on it? It's $50.00 in the USA and $100.00 in CANADA.

I'm also in the market to buy a blender and this one is on my list too. But I read somewhere that the smoothie maker by Hamilton is better.
