Hello,
I would like to sell my eVGA 9800gtx+ Superclocked+ version (GTX++).

SOLD

Part No:
512-P3-N876-CR
(other part numbers exist for the same product, "CR" just means Canadian Retailer)

Includes:
-Receipt for lifetime warranty (purchased from futureshop on Sept 22/2008) LINK (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10109251&catid=#)
-All original packaging and box

Condition:
Everything is in mint like new condition. Card was used sparingly for less than a month. It worked really well with Team Fortress 2 and Mass Effect (those are the only games I tried).

Reason for Selling:
I really was expecting to keep this card but I am changing my computer to a home theatre PC and so I would like to use an ATI card.

Location:
Downtown Toronto (work) and Mississauga (Home)
Willing to drive/drop off within reasonable distances

you can't compare the 9800GTX with the HD4870...

260GTX vs HD4870 on the other hand...

nah i was not comparing... just stating that his price is good for a pretty decent card...

and im not really familiar with geforce cards (and which compare to the ati ones)

i've always read good stuff about ati, except the ati 4870 with its high heat problems (hence why i bought palit sonic)

GTX 280 > HD4870 > GTX 260 > HD4850 > 9800GTX+ > 9800GTX

I think that's about right. Now, not to mention that the 280 isn't THAT MUCH better than the HD4870, but has a considerably higher pricetag, the HD4870 is the best deal for sure. It's younger brother is also an amazing purchase for the price, the HD4850.

bump for the guy anyway.

ah ok thanks =)
GDDR5 FTW..

but the hd4870 is awesome when it comes to pushing stuff...i.e. anti aliasing it outperforms its competitors on high rest and that.
