from CT is NOT worth $159....but it goes on for $59 occasionally and $79 frequently, and is well worth that.

RONA carries one for about $60...used to lay granite tiles and worked fine.

I purchased this saw about a month ago. I used the blade included for a few cuts but it was quite thick so I installed a Dewalt blade for about $75. now I'm into it for about $400 with tax. It looks the same as the $599 saw at Home Depot. IMHO, it does a beautiful job. I can cut less than 1/4 inch widths ,if necessaryfor trim, in travertine. cuts like nothing I've used before except the 999 Dewalt. I have installed about 600 sq ft of travertine, floors, walls and backsplash. I've got about another 600 to go and then some treads and risers. Very pleased. I can't find it on the Princess Auto web site so you may have to phone them, depends where you live.

fiddlers.. I appreciate the input, but only looking for one to do my kitchen to cut some small ceramic tiles. Looking for something a little cheaper.
deep.. Would like to get this done within a week or so. Does the CDN Tire one go on sale often, or before Xmas again I wonder...
sienna .. couldn't find it on the Rona websites. I did find this one though.. is this the one you were talking about? It's probably the one I will try to get if nothing better comes along. Anyone have any experience with this wet saw ?

Yeah .. that CT one is often around $100 off what they have it at now .. but you would have to cross your fingers for it to go on sale in the time you need it by.

That's a nice looking saw - looks more solid than the CT one....I say go for it.

yeah..that looks like it..but the name's not the same...i'm sure it'll do the same job... if it's just ceramic, then maybe just get a manual tile cutter??
but it is good to have when you get to other projects..LOL

I have that one and it's pretty good, on my 6th bathroom tile job with it now and still using the original blade. I needed something cheap and compact to lug around instead of my heavy not so portable 10" tile saw. I'd advise using it outside or in a garage because it's noisy and makes a mess. I belive it was around the $50 price 2 flyers ago
