When iphone came out, i signed up 6GB plan. During those days FIDO CSRs', were saying there could be additional charges if a non-fido phone is used with Iphone 6GB sim. now on FIDO website i saw this after new plans were released,
Data options
If you know how much data you use on average, this is the best choice for you.
Data options Combine one of these options with your monthly package. Monthly charge
2 MB1of Internet access (Not recommended for iPhone or laptop use) $15*
500 MB1 of Internet access $25**
1 GB1 of Internet access $30**
3 GB1 of Internet access $60**
8 GB1 of Internet access $80**
1Compatible with all mobile devices (including non-Fido certified devices) and benefits from special U.S. data roaming rate of $0.006 per KB.
*Additional data transmission rate for 2 MB option; $5 per MB up to 5 MB and 3¢ per MB thereafter
**Additional data transmission rate 3¢ per MB. International data roaming rate of 3¢ per KB.
If your Internet and data usage varies from month to month, subscribe to this option. It will also give you 0.03¢ per kb rate when roaming in the U.S.:
******------ Now my doubt is, are the above rules "Compatible with all mobile devices (including non-Fido certified devices) " also applicable to 6GB data plan. In my invoice they call it Internet Option not internet access.......i do not want to sound dumb, just do not want to see huge bills.
Because i like my TYTN II, and i want to use the same iphone SIM and take advantage of 6GB plan.
Can anybody in my situation or not clear, Thanks
