How is it hard to mount a PSU in that case? I have used that case at least 5 times for my own computer and client computers, there is nothing different when compared to regular cases other then the psu is on the bottom.
Just make sure the cables for the PSU are long enough which most are unless you are buying some cheap psu and you should have no problems.
I have used Corsair & OCZ powersupplys in this case without problems.

yea i saw it, not a good idea to do what he wants as the psu would probably overheat or run a lot hotter then normal.
I have the same PSU in my Antec 900

I have the same PSU in my Antec 900
So which case do you recommend from the following list :
1) CM 690
2) Antec 900
3) Antec p 182
4) Antec Solo
5) Antec Sonata III ATX case

I personally like the Antec 900 the most as I have used it a bunch of times for myself and clients. It provides very good cooling even with the fans on low and noise level is pretty low. Also I think it looks good with the blue lights (some people may not like it) and its actually built pretty good.
Also having the psu in the bottom of the case actually make your psu run cooler since heat rises and there are the 2 120mm intake fans that will blow cool air toward the psu.
I have used one of the Antec Sonata cases before and I find it to be very cheap and cooling it no where near the type of cooling you will get with an antec 900.
My 2nd choice would probably be the CM 690 never used it but it looks like it would be still a decent case for cooling but could be better if it had a top fan like the antec 900 since heat rises the huge fan the antec has on the top helps alot.

In regards to CM690 you have to mount the PSU in the Buttom
& the same will happen with the p182
I do not know about Antec Solo & Antec Sonota III

P180/182 are the most horrible cases for PSU mounting. It's VERY difficult.
I recommend the Antec 1200 case.

If they are most horribles cases then why they are very expensive
Antec 900 No PSU 124$ + TAX + Shipping Beside you have to pay at least a 130$ and up for a Good PSU.

I wouldn't recommend this, as I have no idea what you do with your computer, but the Sonata III is pretty good for an average user + comes with a decent PSU (supposedly made by Seasonic).
I don't particularly like the tricool fan that it comes with, and you should get another fan to mount mid-case, unless you like having HDDs run at 50+C.
PS. I don't know exactly what Mr Run-on-sentence above was trying to say.

Hi: do you think the Antec Sonota III PSU will be sufficient for the Nvidia Gforce 9800GTX 512MB.

What are you talking about? There is nothing hard/wrong about mounting the powersupply? You mount it on the bottom whats wrong with that? If anything its better since it will probably run cooler and makes the case more stable.

Theres a reason why power supply fans have a
120mm fan on them for and thats to help draw
warm air out of the case and exhaust it outside.
With the 900 case this isn't possible if you
mount the power supply the way its supposed to be.

Ever think that you could easily mount the power supply upside down? This does not affect its output or operating temperature.

I would not flip the powersupply... the fan is
really a need in the powersupply.

Umm no its not. the fan is there to Cool the PSU NOT to cool the case,
Putting the PSU on the bottom is better because the PSU will run cooler since heat rises. Also if you look at the case it has a Big fan on the very top that exchausts the air out of the case. and a 120mm fan on the top back which does the same also.

Of course it is. Flipping the power supply upside down (so that the 120mm fan pushes air down into the enclosure) is not a bad thing. I know this for a fact.

OP, if you really want that CM640 (or whatever model), get it... Not worth the feeling that something might be wrong when you put everything together with the Antec 900 (and not like anything will :S) I got the Antec 300 and will be getting the HX620W..highly doubt it won't fit when SB recommends it :P

The Corsair 620 will fit in the Antec 900 for sure any Corsair/OCZ PSU will I have used them in this cause many times before.
Some pics of my computer as you can see the PSU fits no problem and the whole computer runs very cool compared to a friend that has an Antec Sonata not sure which one, but similar specs.

I'm using the Antec 900 and there isn't any issue with the PSU mounting. My PSU is the Enermax Liberty series.
I would be more worried about the cleaning you would experience if you're getting the 900, it's a dust magnet. Then again, it's one of the more cooler cases around, there's very few that can mount 4x 120mm fans and a monster 200mm one.

This is actually the reccomended way to mount the PSU in the 900.

I'd get a big Lian Li case and keep it for years. Heck i'm still using a PC60 from ages ago :D
But from your list, I'll go with the 900.

Don't know, but looking at a photo, I think the card will be physically too big/long for the case.
