[Bell] Bell EPP - $15.25/month - 200 Anytime minutes, Unlim E/W starting at 6pm

I was walking around commerce court in Downtown Toronto and what I believe was a bell store (not a third party dealer) that advertised the following:

200 anytime minutes
Unlim E/W starting at 6pm
Conference calling
Call waiting

For 15.25 + other fees (which i take to mean SAF, 911 tax, etc).

Still, 15.25 is the cheapest i have seen thus far (compared to the 17.30), and E/W at 6pm seems decent given the price.

Hope this isnt a repost. I searched Bell EPP 15.25 in the forum search feature, and didn't come up with anything!

Dirt cheap, might help some people with PM'ing at Rogers or Telus - stay away from Bell!

although it is 2 dollar cheeper, bell's SAF is 8.95, so at the end rogers and bell is still the same.

you do realize that Bell has an $8.95 SAF and $.75 E911. Which cancels out compared to the Rogers deal.

Hi folks: I didn't realize that Bell had a 8.95 SAF...I guess you all are right about the deal essentially being the same.

My mistake!

This is the offer that I got today from both Bell and Rogers. I posted this in the Cell Phones Section but I thought I would share this with this thread.

C/P:

Currently I'm with Rogers (past 7+ yrs) and this is what I was offered today:
==> 250 daytime minutes
==> Evening and Weekends after 6pm
==> Call Display, VMail, Name Display, Call Forwarding, Call Waiting & 3 way calling
==> 2500 free text messaging
==> 1000 min. free LD in Canada
==> Unlimited Incoming

For $32.45 + GST/PST

What are your thoughts???

the reason why Rogers offered this is because I rec'd an offer from Bell as follows:
==> 250 daytime minutes anywhere in Canada and USA
==> Evening and Weekends after 6pm Anywhere in Canada and USA
==>CD,VM,CW, CF and 3 Way Calling
==> Unlimited Text Msg'ing

I would say the Bell plan is better due to the lower cost......that is unless you plan on talking more than 8 or 9 mins a day before 6PM. I don't since I'm at work (and most ppl I know are also at work)......so I'd go with the lower cost plan.

Would this bell plan be for anyone? My brother is looking for an HTC touch with Unlimited Data, but he wants a decent voice plan. Just not sure how you go about and ask about this plan, we live in Calgary.

Here's discussion about what looks to be the same plan:

http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/show ... light=bell

I also saw this advertised at the Bell store in Scotia Plaza (just quickly glanced at it). It did say you had to be a corporate employee but there was no indication of what corporation or how wide their definition of "corporate" employee is.

Based on the link to the discussion provided above, appears it must be a 3 yr contract.
