What's with all the pics of animal abuse being posted on this forum? For any of you who think those pics are funny, understand that the idiot humans doing bizarre things to those innocent animals are abusing them. Ergo, if you think those pics are funny, you condone animal abuse.

Shame.

How do you know that cat's pic is photoshopped? There are enough losers around who think it's funny to misuse animals just like that.

Okay, misuse then, is that better? Those sorts of pics are demeaning to the animals in them, although clearly they indicate the type of deranged personality that finds humour in them.

All the pics of animal abuse? And you post one link? I don't even know what pic you're referring to, there's 3 animal pics there (well one I don't even think is a photo, just some freaky looking mammal or sci-fi animation). Of the other two, one has a cat with a sticky on his ahead, and one with make up on it's face. So where exactly is the abuse? And where are "all the" other "pics of animal abuse'? Cuz not only does that one fail, but it is only one in any event, kinda falls short of your implication that the board is rampant with pics of animal abuse.

Having animals all my life, I can tell you that they are not always the most graceful. Toss them a treat and they don't always catch them.

It looks to me like someone hot glued a Santa hat to an owl. It could of course just be a photoshopped image, but I'm going to fly off the handle and label it animal abuse.

You are absolutely correct in saying that some people abuse animals for their own amusement. I for one think that they should be penalized to the full extent of the law, but calling a photoshopped image or a slice of cheese on a cats head abuse, does nothing to protect animals from abuse. It actually weakens their protection.

You don't know that pics of real animals done up by idiot humans for their own sick humour are photoshopped or not!

Have you been reading your own arguments? Your photo is fake and isn't even a real owl but all of the other pictures are of animal abuse! How can you be so certain that your picture is fake but the others are real? How can you accept that your picture is fake but refuse to believe that the other pictures are fake?

You've never laughed at a human getting hurt, perhaps a football hitting a guy in the groin? How can any honest person not help but to at least smirk if they saw that happen.

If they're photoshopped (and you don't know if they are or not), it still isn't right because all it does is demean animals. Pics of a cat scrunched up in glass, pics of a soaking wet kitten - funny??????

Two guys choosing to play football run that risk. No animal consents to being misused or abused so some deranged human can get their jollies.

Is that the way you prove your point, by being self-appointed spokesperson for the entire forum? That's sad and pathetic and it's also wrong for you to assume the balance of that sentence of yours that I haven't quoted.

Hey, you're pretty hypocritical for someone that has an owl avatar. What if I told you I thought that was demeaning to owls?

I think you've proven your own hypocrisy above, but since you ask, if it bothered you and others that much, take a poll and since we live in a democracy if the majority think the owl avatar is offensive, I'll change it. No big deal.

You missed the point. You think photoshopped cats are wrong, yet you don't see the problem with photoshopped drawings of animals? Your argument was based on demeaning animals..In both cases, it's the same.

You know nothing about me, yet you made the baseless assumption that I support animal cruelty and called me pathetic. That's childish.

As for the "used to". You don't even know the reason why I don't do that anymore. How about the fact that I still donate to those organizations.. or the fact that I dedicate my time to working/volunteering for other organizations (autism, hospitals)?

See, you know nothing about me, but you judge based on your own ill-informed idea of who I am...There's a real lack of logic there. Drop the holier than thou crap.
