please help me think of something to get my bf.
he's 21. he doesn't like anything in particular. he's just the type of guy that would appreciate anything from me but i want to get him something nice.
last year i got him a sweater and a scarf.
so this year i wanna get him something else.
any suggestions?
if you are a guy, what would you want from ur gf?
if you are a girl, any gifts u got for him that he really liked?

Does he like gaming? Maybe get him something for gaming (either for a console or for computer)
does he listen to lots of music?
Maybe get him headphones or something.

What a guys tells his GF is different than how he spends time with his buds. Most guys I know would kill for a good LCD TV / LCD Monitor. It offers practical uses as well as entertaining friends. Everyone gets excited around a 50" LCD/Plasma TV. If it's not in your budget then search RFD for a 19"-24" model.
Sweater/Scarfs...sigh...sigh...sigh...we PRETEND we love it. We like anything girls give us if it keeps you in a good mood. Seriously, if my GF cooked squid (and I was deathly allergic to squid), I'd still take a bite-smile-keel over, "great dinner - squid's my favourite".
Go for a LCD or tons of PS3/XBox/Wii games, especially ones you can play together :)

What is your budget?
i think that should be in your OP.
1. guys love electronics..
does he play computer games?
ie. dota? or war craft? (if he plays dota, you probably hate the game, but it's christmas.. haha think of him =)
buy him a logitech G5 gaming mouse
or a logitech G15 keyboard.
*if he's a gamer, he would appreciate either of these.
Edit; does he have a PS3 or Xbox 360? buy him a wireless controller if he doesn't already have one.
does he have rockband or guitar hero? buy him the rockband 2 or guitar hero world tour (just the game, considering he already has all the equipment)
2. is he asian? ... well does he shave? haha, as a smaller *funny gift, buy him a fusion razor or schick titanium. it's practical and i would enjoy it.
3. buy him a hoodie from J2, or buy him some jeans.
or go to sneaker box if you have one in T Dot, and buy him some shoes.
4. oh, my gf made me a whole bunch of coupons before. that was AWESOME!!!
ie. free massage, free dinner, free ride (as in a ride to a location), free sexual types of activity, etc. stuff like that.
5. Buy him a sickk belt? ie. J. Lindberg
6. does he play hockey? buy him some nice nike gloves, or a stick?
7. get him condoms.

If he played warcraft, he probably wouldn't have a girlfriend. Not a real one, at least.

If hes a electronic freak get him a bluray player, TV, Home theatre system etc..
Computer/Gaming freak- Nice set of speakers, games etc..
Car freak- a car part.
Apparel freak- nice brand name wallet, watch, etc.
Sports- specific sports equipment, bike, etc.
All of these are just ideas of mine.. It really depends on how long you've been together also... Personally I'm not materialistic, I'll accept anything from my gf it's the thought that counts.. its not about what you get its about you two being happy together. =)

Yeah i'm impossible to buy for, my g/f hates it.
I tell her to get me either concert tickets or sports tickets, just because thats something we can do together. Get him like ac/dc tickets or tickets to a hockey game, if he likes sports.
I'm a bit of a nerd, but if I didn't already have one, I'd like an eeePC for christmas...

seriously...maybe he doesn't want anything =) times are rough right now, perhaps he'd rather you save money then spend it on an overpriced item that he could have easily come on RFD to get a hot deal on....

Don't know the purpose of the question "is he asian?" If he shaves he shaves, shouldn't matter what race he is.
Back to OP, know your price range, know his hobbies and likes, buy something related in your price range.
Like another poster said, you can give coupons for things as well.

Isn't there a saying that goes "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach" ? You can try cooking up a nice dinner for him, especially his favourite foods, but make sure you get your friends to try it out first and have them go crazy for it before letting him have some. : )

this was a joke because most asians don't really shave because they don't can barely grow facial hair. all my asian friends shave like once every couple weeks/once a month..
just a joke.

god what the hell is wrong with you idiots? are sexual acts really the best you can come up with? frick no wonder they had to go and make scarlett lounge (though i blame RFD and their lack of moderation for allowing this stupidity to go on).
op: give us more info.
how long have you been together? what did he get you in previous years?
any hobbies?
does he play sports?
does he have a favourite meal?
does he work, goto school? etc.

I don't see how this is immature at all frankly... She wants to get him a gift, something he loves, assumably she wants to make him happy, assumably as well he is a heterosexual male and really would love nothing more than some hot loving from his honey, what is wrong with that? Give him a book of "favour coupons", that would be awesome.
I'll tell you one thing, any average hguy would MUCH rather get his GF in some Victoria Secret outfit for Christmas than some lame-o scarf. Or even a TV or whatever (hell I can buy that myself).

I just bought dh a coffee bean roaster. He loves his coffee and is always on the lookout for really good, fresh roasted beans. I don't think he has any idea that it is a fairly easy/fun hobby to roast your own beans. Even the least expensive roasters (100-200) will yield a good cuppa joe.

Some girls turn into pychotic *****es when they are on the pill b/c of the hormones. Might not be the best gift ;).
Ask her to get an IUD. IUD >>>>>>>>>> the pill, much lower dose of hormones applied constantly so no mood swings. And the girls love it because they have no more periods. It's cheaper too because you put it in and it lasts years and years. When you want it removed its a simple doctor trip.
