Looking to buy a top end laptop. **

Hey guys, looking to purchase a well-built laptop, preferibly not Acer or anything similar. I'm going to use this computer heavily, so I'd prefer Duo Core with quite a bit of memory, also needs to have build in webcam.
Price doesn't matter, I just want a good value for my buck. Could be anywhere from $700-$1000. Screen size can be 14.1 inches or 15.4 inches, nothing bigger or smaller.
I looked at BB's and FS's flyer, but its hard to know which ones are good deals.

There isn't too much on savings but the Sony 3200 and HP T5800 were priced at 999$ and 829$ respectively before and are now down to 799$ and 699$ in-store on boxing day at Best Buy. They're a little bit more in the higher end and the small reduction in price might fit your window. Check out the specs and see if they fit what you're looking for. Anything above that will probably be full price in the 1000$ range. Also, online -only deals are refurbished units except for toshiba this year so avoid if you want to buy a new product unless it's a toshiba from either BB or FS.

I looked at the specs for the Sony - it's equivalent to the specs I've seen on some HP's, except $300 more. Definetly far from hot. As for the other model, I can't seem to find it on the BB flyer.

Anybody else?
