The What-to-Wear-with-What thread!

So, in this thread we're all going to give each other suggestions on what you should wear!

You can ask what goes with what, what should I wear (head to toe!) to this place, you name it!

I'll start, I have a few pieces that I don't know what to wear with.

This zip-up jacket:

It's creme and navy blue; what shirt do I wear underneath, dress or graphic tee, colour? Presumably dark-wash jeans, to match the navy blue stripes?

This shirt.

I don't have the bod to wear a shirt on it's own, however, I do wear sweaters/sweater vests to work with what I have. I was thinking a navy blue sweater-vest? Maybe light was jeans if I were to wear it on it's own? What type of jeans if I did go with a navy blue sweater-vest? OR, do you have something totally else in mind.

Here's hoping that this thread is a hit...

first item: wear some jeans with it, a dark tshirt underneath and you'll be fine. you really can't screw up a zippie.

2nd item: no offence but it looks unique.

Try a six-figure salary that starts with a "3" (that would be annually)

1st: dark denim, cherry red t (not the shirt u have behind it, more of a darker red).

2nd: dark denim, ur sweater vest OR id put it under a nice fitted hoody and sorta crinkle the sleeves up and have that "messy" look.

Thanks for starting this thread Jay

I have a pinkish dress shirt (can be substituted with a *cranberry* one or some other colours but I prefer to wear this pink one because it's new LOL) and I plan to pair it with a black pants and a black/dark navy blazer.

Please see the attached pic, it's not the greatest quality but I hope that will give you guys some ideas.

I already have a black belt so that's fine. My question is what kind of shoes should I wear ? A darker (black or brown) one or can I pull it off with a white one (as I posted in the other thread)

Here is where things get a bit more complicated. I am heading off to Vietnam in a few days and I plan to wear this on the airplane (going to a wedding there) so I need to wear dressy but comfortable shoes. I would love to wear sneakers but I guess that's a no-no when it comes to blazers. Some of you may ask why I don't put this in the suitcase with a pair of dress shoes and put them on in Vietnam and the reason is I want to minimize the amount of things I have to bring...if I can find a pair of shoes that can be dressy and comfortable at the same time, I don't have to bring 2 pair (1 sneakers and 1 dressy)

Your thoughts ?

I'd advise against white shoes. There are dressy and comfortable shoes out there, just look at some comfort brands.

I bought a pair of black Clarks loafers at SoftMoc yesterday. It matched well with the dark pants and the dark blazer.

1st: wear with jeans and a dress shirt. leave it unzipped and push up the sleeves
2nd: get rid of it, there's a reason you cant match it to anything
