bump for the good price... the car is worth at least $15,960 assuming it's in ok condition, much more if it's in excellent condition. you can't get this car for this price from a dealer. and don't forget you only pay one tax (PST) on a private sale and no $100 admin fee.

thanks for the bump.
look at the mileage 70,000KM over 5 years is really low. the car was babied. Mobil 1 oil every 3,500KM, all maintainence completed. 1 year old rotors and pads, cross drilled in the front, oem in the rear, second set of winters rims and tires included in sale.
great deal.

i love how the RSX owners rip off their acura and rsx badges and put on the true Honda Integra Type R badges... which is what RSXs really are in Japan.
Maybe you should go find those RSX badges and put them on your Integra! hahahahahah

Actually, this is not a good thing. Its called RICE. And I feel SO ashamed when I drive my RSX-S (NOTICE I DIDN'T SAY INTEGRA) and I pass by one of these fake JDM wanabes. Its an RSX and not an Integra, and if its a Type S, its NOT a Type R.
Would you re-badge a Lexus to say "Toyota" ? The car is an RSX not an Integra.
Back on topic, what IS for sale, is an Integra.
So bump for a great, reliable car. The AEM CAI is a great product as well.
Just curious, are you going for an RSX?

a GSR without GSR rims?! what gives :O
quick_gsr
May 3rd, 2004, 06:56 PM
Actually your example about re-badging a lexus with a toyota symbol does not apply here.
If someone takes an RSX badge off to replace it with an Integra badge it's the same thing in my opinion, because it's the same car. Japan calls it Integra we have RSX. The Integra Type R in Japan has not come over here yet. so of course if someone badges a RSX-S as a Integra R that is dumb.
I don't believe you can downgrade an RSX by putting an Integra Badge on it. Eitherway......
BUT BACK TO MY CAR.
It is a clean mint car, VERY RELIABLE car. To people who have never owned a honda, acura or toyota product. think about this, why do you think they only change engines, trannys and major components every 5-10 years, because they are bullet proof cars. The Integra has not had a major change in it's entire run, 1993-2001, that's a long stretch.
PLEASE do research, I'm the lowest priced GSR(year and mileage in account) in TORONTO.
$15,500 OR BEST OFFER

GSR rims were stolen, still have 2 sets of wheels and tires, summer tires and a set of winter tires. a used set of GSR rims are not very expensive and not so hard to find. Most people change the stock rims anyway, if anyone is interested in having the GSR rims with the car, I can find a set and work out a deal.
Any questions at all, Please ask.

The Type R is not coming to North America, altho I wish it would.
And I didn't mean debadging an RSX to an Integra degrades it. It just makes the owner look immature. I look down on these people.
About the rims, Superior Tire & Auto on Dufferin and Finch has new and used rims (stock) for almost any car. Check there.

It's like I'm re-badging my RSX-S to say S2000. Its not the same car. Its a higher-class car. The JDM Honda Integra Type R is way different than the Acura RSX Type S. Its like lying to yourself, and looking dumb to other people while doing it.
I know what you mean though, its BASICALLY the same car in another country that has a different name. But take this for example:
Infiniti G35 Coupe in Japan, the JDM version of this Infiniti is actually called the "Nissan Skyline" in Japan. G35 Coupe is the new SKyline in Japan. Not the GT-R though, that will be out later. But its still called a Skyline.
Imagine seeing a G35 Coupe with Skyline badges. Thats ********! I'd laugh!

I've been insured under various cars(parents, past cars of my own) since I was 17. It's been a huge rip off since day one! I had speeding tickets, but they are all cleared now. It's the whole male under 25 thing. Another reason why I'm selling the car, first one being I work downtown now, and second I'll wait till winter(I'll hit 25 then) and see if I need a car again.

INSURANCE IS A RIPOFF!
TTC is the way to go if you work downtown.
SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE.
CAR IS STILL FOR SALE. I'm typing in caps because I'm pissed that kids on this forum treat a car for sale without the seriousness it deserves, this is not a $100 computer part. This is a $15,500 Car(which sells for thousands more at dealers). so if you make a serious offer you should be ready to stick to it if it's accepted.
That's my rant for the day.

I have reconsidered my price, it was $16,500 to start with, it is now $14,500. It is the lowest priced GSR with leather and only 75KM in the trader. you may find one or two lower priced GSR's, but they are going to be older, 96 or 97 model years, without leather, and with much more mileage. Also, there is $2,500 worth of extras on my car, which I have taken into account in my price.
IF ANYONE is seriously looking for a GSR, (I hope you know the difference, all other integra's, GS, RS, LS, SE, are simply different cars, consider a GSR as very close version of the type R) please research the market accurately. My price is very fair, I am not selling the car for the money, so I'm not going to give it away.
Thanks

This is a "driver's" car, not a regular GS, SE, LS, RS, model integra. This is the real deal, 170HP stock, mine probably has 10-15 HP more with the slight mods. 8,000RPM redline, ummm, all I can say is very fun car to drive. and guys these engines are bullet proof, the B-series engines were running for 10 years before they redesigned with the RSX.

not sure if you're aware but your statement has a lot of assumptions and I don't believe your assumptions are correct.
no bites on auto trader does not automatically equal price problem. if you believe that, you're assuming that auto trader is a perfect market, where information is perfect and the prices are perfect, meaning the number of buyers match the number of sellers and the buyers are so educated that all information available is taken into account to reflect the highest price they're willing to pay.
autotrader is far from a perfect market. it caters to a specific market: online version = younger generation, tech savvy... and within that segment you'll only ever capture a small percentage of that segment for your market. So in other words, no bites on auto trader is likely due to lack of interest (in the car) or lack of buyers, both of which causes lack of demand.
on the supply side if there are too many of the same type of cars, it'll be hard for sellers to unload also. this is why sellers need to differentiate their cars as much as possible in order to avoid price competition - price is the last thing you want to negotiate on.
so after all that, i believe quick_gsr has done just that - tried to differentiate his car as it is worth what he's asking for, if not more.

quick_gsr
Jul 10th, 2004, 09:46 AM
Good point, But the thing with GSR's and other high performance cars, is the demand varies throughout the year and the supply is usually always low on this car. I have no urgent need to sell. So when the right person comes along I will sell. It is the lowest priced, lowest mileage GSR in Toronto. The price will only go lower on this for 2 reasons, the longer I keep, the older the car will get, and the more mileage it will get. So if anyone is waiting for me to drop this price to $12,000, you are going to have to wait another and 30K more on the clock.

Has anyone bought a car on this forum....c'mon guys you guys all know what I am talking about......if you are comparing the private market vs. the retail market then you are way off this topic. All I was saying is to set if you want to sell something quick, then you do have to sell at market price, or even maybe below market price to move the item quicker.

The price is set BELOW private market and WAY below RETAIL market. If anyone would like to show me otherwise, please do. If you cannot show me a GSR that is lowered priced with same or lower mileage then please keep your useless comments about the price to yourself. If the price is not within your budget, get a CIVIC, not trying to be rude or harsh. BUT this is an Integra GSR with 75KM, I am getting non-serious offers and it's just a waste of time.
Thanks
Michael

I am sorry Mike, but you asked for it: Here it is, a GSR newer than yours with lower KM's plus with the original rims, and much more rarer color.

Qwako: Your link does not work!
To everyone who has bumped my thread, THANK YOU.
It is so obvious which members on RFD know what this car is worth and what the modifications I listed in many of my posts are worth.
Thanks

Qwako: you really leave so much room to be blasted, but I have no need to waste time or other members time.
The car Qwako was speaking of was a 2000 white GSR with 39K. sure, to someone that does not research the car, it will look like a better deal.
I, on the other hand, would never post something on another members thread unless I was 150% positive my info was accurate. I made a simple call to F&P auto 416-729-7588 to inquire about the GSR.
The car is a theft recovery, Not so bad you say. But the Title is REBUILT, which is really bad. Value of the car to insurance is ****. Value of the car for future resale is ****. sorry to use the word ****, but I have no other way of describing what a car in Canada with a REBUILT title is worth.
Once again, serious buyers will know what this car is worth and are welcome to come and see the car in person. AND remember My car has CLEAN TITLE.
P.S. Qwako: that white GSR is still available at F&P auto, go and grab it. great price for a rare low mileage GSR with rebuilt title. LOL

I didn't get to see the Autotrader link since it wasn't working. But did it specify that the car was a recovery on the ad? If not, how would anyone know without calling the dealer?
Probably not a good idea to "blast" other members even if they are threadcrappers esp when you're trying to sell a car.
Free bump tho.

sorry for the extra posts today.
I called F&P auto again to get more details, (I was just curious) WOW, this car has been through a lot.
Franklin(I'm guessing the F in F&P) was very open and honest with the history of the car.
This car started out as a U.S. car, and had it's cluster replaced. (I wonder if that is the actually mileage?)
It does not have the B18C1 head, it was swapped with a B16 head (for those of you that are into honda, the B16 head is from a Civic!)
Next, the cars tranny was replaced? (wow, good low mileage car)
No stereo is included with the car as well.
Guys let this be lesson to all of you, don't get burned by these small independant dealers, I'm not saying all of them are bad, but most of them are selling cars with a "history"
Qwako, are you still sure that GSR is better then mine? lol
Once again,
Thank you to all that have bumped my thread.

it's been a while seen I bumped this thread.
Car is still in amazing condition.
Serious buyers only.
I have had someone from RFD come and test drive the car to only find that he can't afford the insurance. Guys, please do some homework before you come to drive the car. THE CAR IS MINT. INSIDE OUT. insurance is going to be expensive, it's a GSR.

I am 19, and for my B-Day I just bought myself an RSX Type-S. I love it! Acura is an awesome company that makes sweet cars.
Integra. Still nice. Bump for ya bud.
I pay $2500 a year for insurance. Only a couple of photo radar tickets to my name.... I am just happy I haven't gotten more. Fines suck; plain and simple. The cops should be out arresting drunk natives, not giving blue collar white kids speeding tickets...... pffffffft :P

Aug 18th, 2004, 08:58 AM
the reason you pay $2500 is because your out in alberta, in toronto you would pay $5000+
I will keep the car until end of august, maybe midway september, then I'm going to bring it to the dealers, see if they want it.
Thanks

Are you crazy? They'd probably give you $10,000!
I wish I was in the market for a car right now. I'm trying to get rid of one of my cars first. It's always the best deals come at the wrong time.

thanks for the bumps guys.
Integra's are very reliable, I would recommend them to anyone. The GSR and type R(don't recommend, just because it will be stolen very quickly) are just so much fun to drive. Very responsive, drivers cars, you can't go wrong.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me.

Bump.
Does it suck to TTC it downtown from Yorkdale? I do it from the other end of the subway line in scarlem and after a month of it, i was sick and tired of all the pushing and shoving and the weird people mouthing off and harrassing other people on the TTC.
It takes over an hour to get home from downtown. I started driving downtown to work now. Takes only 30 minutes to get from my home to my desk in the morning if i leave at 7:30, taking the 401 and DVP. Going home is a bigger ***** but the worst I've done is 1 hr up the DVP/Don Mills and then 401.
I save at least 30 minutes driving to work everyday than take the TTC.
Bump.

yorkdale to downtown, takes me 15-20mins. no time at all. once I sell the car, I don't have to pay insurance, maintenance on the car, gas, it's much cheaper to take the the subway in my situation.
The car is super clean. Anyone seriously looking for a car should contact me.

free bump for you. integra's are reliable fun cars to drive!
how much higher is the insurance in percentage from the LS -> GSR model?
quick_gsr
Oct 16th, 2004, 06:45 PM
not sure about the insurance difference between an LS/RS/GS to a GSR/typeR
to be honest, I believe the entire line of integras are rated very high in TORONTO that is.
I have a fellow RFD member that just came to look at the car(and it looks like it's just about SOLD) :) and his insurance rates are just insanely low, he's from burlington. I think everyone should move to burlington!
That's my rant for the day.
Thanks
