Go to the fs website and click on video games and used games and looking at the special offer if you trade any 2 games with $10 + value you will get 3 Blu Rays. I robot, the devil wears prada and another one I can't remember. Not great but u can trade into blockbuster for at least $10 store credit.

There's no barcodes on the back of the 3 movies so you probably can't trade them in for credit. I was going to trade Devil Wears Prada, but I checked the barcode first and noticed that one doesn't exist on these 3 packs of movies, so I doubt BBV will let you trade them in.
FS has been pimping these 3 packs of Blu Ray's for the past month and a half. Eventually they'll be giving these away if you just set foot in the store.

YMMV, Blockbuster will sometimes take them, just means the employee has to like their job enough to enter the title in manually.

it's blu-ray
it's the 3 pack you get with a player
maybe I should do this and then trade my copies of the movies I already have in to BB for more credit:cheesygri

Can you select any 3-pack or you must take the one they give you?

I just got off the phone with one of the entertainment reps earlier today.
It has to be Devil Wears Prada, I, Robot and Kingdom of Heaven. No substitutes.

This is a total scam. I went to FS on Saturday and none of the 5 Xbox 360 games I brought in qualified for the minimum $10 trade. Then the other guy said "oh we are out of these sets anyway".
What a complete waste of time. FS sucks.

so just to clarify this, you trade in the two games and get the 3 blu rays or you trade them and get the trade in value + the blu rays?
I assume its the first option

I went today, they said it was either your trade credit or the movies, maybe it was rookie. Anybody here get credit and blu rays, i went in with same idea of trading into BBV. Didnt know about the bar codes. Still thats a horriable deal if it is one or the other, I just needed to buy somethings so needed credit.

as with the other promos.. it should be that you get the credit of 20+ dollars for your 2 games and also get the blu-rays... would suck if u didnt...

I checked it out today. You choose either the TIV or the bluray movie 3 pack, not both.
I wound up getting it anyways, traded in 2 games that I paid 14.00$ for, not bad 14$ for 3 blurays IMO.

Either take the credit or the bluray movies.
I took the credit instead as neither of these 3 movies are very interesting. I would have gotten next to nothing for the games had I went to EB.

very odd that you don't get both the TIV of $20+ and the Blu-Ray movies.
I liked the last promo of trading in 2 games to get a copy of Batman/Dark Knight.

Just to be clear.. you have to give them 2 movies worth $10 or more eash on their system. The games I brought were worth between $3.60 and $8.40 so none qualified. The games you have to bring will likely have to be fairly new and popular, my PGR4 was worth $8.40.
Sounds like a great deal but you have to likely give up some nice games to get these so so Blu Rays. You knew it sounded to good to be true.

1/3 of the time I trade games into BBV they have to manually type it in for whatever reason. Maybe it's because a bunch of the games I traded in I bought directly from EA Games. meh

Just to reiterate, you DO NOT get to keep the store credit this time around which licks.
So you trade in the $10 games and instead of the free movies and Store Credit, you forfeit the store credit.

No where does it say that.
It says: Some games will not be eligible for trade in credit. This means that some games have a $0 trade value. You get the movies AND the credit....learn how to read people!!

Sounds like a bad deal... but OP should change the title, only reason I clicked on this, was because I thought it was ANY2 games (not any 2 games with $10+ value) to get the package.
I know, sure it sounded too good to be true, but the movies aren't worth anything, so what does it matter if the games are???

Doesn't say anything about not getting the trade in value of the games when you get the Blu Ray movies on the Future Shop website.
Just another example of Future Shop employees screwing over the customer whenever possible.
They give these 3 discs away for free with every Blu Ray player they sell. (even the clearance, last price, Insignia no name, $40 after I returned the 'bundled' service plan ones)
From how the ad reads, you get the 3 movies as a bonus when you trade in the 2 games. I'd tell them to sod off if they told me I wasn't getting the trade in value of the games.

Disc has to be in good condition and cover is required.. However, manual is not required.

Damn, TIV's are crap everywhere with those crazy holiday sales.
Wii Games:
The Legend of Spyro: Eternal Night - $2.60
Metal Slug Anthology: - $3.60
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - $8.40

The extended version of Kingdom of Heaven is actually a very good movie. Much, much better than the butchered copy that was released in theaters. (Studio didn't want a 3 hour film) Ridley Scott was quite vocal about his anger towards the extensive cuts he was forced to make. Excellent video quality as well for this Blu Ray.
Irobot is a pretty crappy film, but it is considered reference quality for video and audio. Lots of great scenes to showcase your system.
This isn't a great deal, but I do think both those BluRays are worth owning.

it's do-able, just that they have to do a manual title search and ring-in a trade transaction that way

more like whether or not they know how to do it
(IME, most only know how to ring-in game/movie trades via UPC scan

So nowhere on it does it say you don't get the credit, but, I'm kind of confused...where does it say you do get the credit?
Go into your local FS and try it. I'll give you six games to trade in (from my collection to yours) if it'll work at 3 Futureshops within 10km of your place.
If they do give it at one, it's completely YMMV.

I just traded in Devil Wears Prada and Kingdom of Heaven for $10 each, they allowed it because it doesn't explicitly say "Not For Resale", but they wouldn't do I, Robot because they couldn't find a Blu-Ray listing for it in their system, which sounds pretty fishy, but whatever, got $20 for those two so I'm happy.

I too was able to return Devil Wears Prada and Kingdom of Heaven to my local BBV. Same deal as posted above, the woman said she could manually look them up, but if it said "not for resale" they couldn't do the trade. She scanned the back of the boxes like a hawk, but found nothing, so I got $20 credit from 2 movies I got with my BR player that I will never watch.

i'm not entirely sure about this, but apparently, if that particular store has never sold or rented the movie, that may be the reason why it's not "listed" in their system
in the past, i've phoned for TIVs of games at BBV, and one thing i noticed was that some stores don't have the game listed in their system (hence couldn't quote me on TIV) while another store did; mind you, the former store didn't rent or sell a PPed copy of the game...
i would try another store, particularly those that specialize in renting BD movies ("BD-movie rush location" - if there's such a thing)
just like if you were to trade a game, you'd head to a "game-rush location" b/c they're more likely to take your copy of the game for trade even if they have lots of PPed copies avail.

the "NFR" doesn't actually apply to them... it's only the 1st party sellers
