When you want to go to RFD just search "Red Flag Deals" in Swagbucks search engine. Just a tip and it wont give you a buck everytime. Just keep using the search for everything you want to look up or site you want to go to.

Yes, the one downfall of deleting the posts is that the thread got bumped back, but most of us "Swagbuckers"?? know it's there anyways.
I don't think a sticky would be a good solution for that thread though.
Firstly, it would end up getting more comments in it, being at the top of the page(which would be even more difficult to keep clean) and has the opposite effect of what the OP intended when creating it.
Secondly, if we stickied this thread there would be more requests for other stickies such as the Points and Prizes one as well as others. That would result in a clutter the top of the forum which many members seem to disagree with.

I'm glad and thank you very much for posting codes in the other thread. Now, that being said, I have not got one to work without being expired by the time I get there (i know thats how they set it up). I check my email manually over 100 times a day and still I no go for me with swagbucks. How much is a code worth once entered? Unless I have it set to my blackberry or I check my email and facebook threads every 10 min and waste a lot of my time I won't get a code in. Hey, if it's worth 10+ swagbucks per code, then maybe it's worth it for me. Otherwise I could just fill in a survey for 20 min and get 5$ instead for my time. I just set my email program up to check automatically every 5 mins at work and I think most newer email programs can do this. I just leave it minimized and not bother with it and it notifies me by itself.

Once its linked to my account they stay there ( have had a credit for almost a year before) Now unless I'm not understanding right, when you put your gift code in its then attached to your account as your credit without it ever expiring.. As for whether RFD should stop sharing codes publicly, I'm not sure... It might prevent them from pulling the contests, but a lot of other places share codes as well. If it helps any, deleting the codes as soon as they expire would be a measure in preventing the sharing from being discovered. As it is the codes are also shared on Slickdeals, and that website pops up first when you Google the codes. :rolleyes:

They'll send you an email to say that it's in your account, and the code will show up on the "My Account" page under "My Gift Cards"

The waiting time varies. Last week some people were saying on the facebook page that they've been waiting longer than a week. I haven't ordered anything recently, but in the past it took about 2-3 business days on average. In the verification email it says please allow 4-7 business days.

Affliates usually have a prefix in the domain name, so just make sure you're on www.swagbucks.com and nothing else. I got 1 SB code from an affiliate so it's basically dead to me since I'm not going to bother with that site.

Yes, this is normal, it should say 'verified'. When they distribute the gift cards they will send you an email to say prize fulfilled and they will put it in the "Gift Cards" section.

Since all my bookmarks are pointed to swagbucks and I normally do a lot of tabbed browsing, I have to be careful. I don't open up 5 tabs at once (as I normally would with my bookmarks) because it would be impossible to type in 5 things that quickly and hit enter. I have been rerouted to the rules page every now and then and take that as a warning to just relax on searches for a while.

I just notice its a lot harder to get a buck through searches during the daytime. If I'm up in midmorning (3am ish), then getting a buck through searches is a lot easier. I'll just need to click my search button 2-3 sets of 5 times to get a win.

For me I notice that I can get 1-2 in the morning, in between 9am-11am PST, nothing in the afternoon, and then 1 again in the evening. I never spam search however. I usually do searches that I need to do for work in the morning, and I inevitably end up searching for stuff in the evening so the points are just a by-product.

While I haven't seen it posted anywhere, it seems the maximum amount you can win through my own 3 months of personal experience is that it's capped at more or less two or three times per day. So for an example: search randomly throughout the day about 20 times, you can win up to three times. For comparison, you can search 1000 times per day, but you ain't gonna win more than 3 times. So once I do win some bucks with the search, I'm not in a very big hurry to try and get another win, until I try again the next day, of which I ALWAYS win within the first 5 searches of trying for the first time on a new day. It's a very slow process, so unless your signing referrals up like mad, it's almost not worth the time to use it.

Oh, spam searching is probably different. I thought you were referring to using swagbucks regularly and as a normal search, which I try to do (which is hard).

I've been getting them quite late as well, or sometimes not at all. It's a bit of a pain to do this, but modifying the subscription notification setting from instant to none and back to instant again seems to start it up again for a couple days at least.

I ordered my first prize (Starbucks $10 GC) and received it within about 6 business days (10 days). I guess it depends on what the item is, but I think their policy is about 2 weeks ground shipping.

Were any of your swagbucks from partner search sites and not all from the Swagbucks main site? I, for example, have one swagbuck from a code that was exclusive to a specific partner site and it shows seperately from my total sb's. I can only use that particular sb on stuff from that specific site.

This happened to me a while back. I had 90 swagbucks and tried to cash them both in for 2 gift cards.

A few days went by and was sent an email saying I was denied because I needed to be Canadian to order the Amazon.ca cards (even though I obviously am, and my profile was set to Canada).

So they had refunded me the full 90 Swagbucks and I went and re-ordered 2 more. Funny thing was only ONE of the first original 2 cards was denied and the other one was still set as "verified". Few days later all 3 cards went through and I ended up getting an extra gift card. I don't know what happened but oh well.♠

the fastest way is to be lucky and have friends who enjoy doing stuff like this. or cyber-beg for referrals :|

1-2 pts/day should be easy to obtain. toss in another 1-2pts for daily swag code hunts and you're looking at 2-4pts/day (provided you're at a PC for most of the waking day). in about a month you should have enough for an Amazon GC.

This happened to me a while back. I had 90 swagbucks and tried to cash them both in for 2 gift cards.

A few days went by and was sent an email saying I was denied because I needed to be Canadian to order the Amazon.ca cards (even though I obviously am, and my profile was set to Canada).

So they had refunded me the full 90 Swagbucks and I went and re-ordered 2 more. Funny thing was only ONE of the first original 2 cards was denied and the other one was still set as "verified". Few days later all 3 cards went through and I ended up getting an extra gift card. I don't know what happened but oh well.♠

I believe there's an expiry date of 1 year if you do not use the code (not quite sure about it). I know once you attach it to your account it's counted as real credit so it should not have an expiry date.

If you don't want to rely on the swagcode thread here for codes (and the reliability of the email), here's another way.

1: Get Check4Change (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3028)

2: Go to www.swagcodes.com, highlight the top 3 lines and right click and select whatever amount of time you want C4C to check. I did 10 minutes so it still works in time but doesn't bombard the site. C4C will flash and notify you when there's a change.

That should work. Quite a few people have posted on the Facebook wall with the same situation. They write an email to swagbucks, and usually people report back that one account gets reactivated and they got to keep their points and prizes.

On the right hand side under your points total is there more than swagbucks.com ( Kiss, NY giants etc.) you cannot spend anyof those points that you got somewhere else. I did not know this I have points from NY giants, Kiss San Deigo Chargers, Reliant K, Atlanta Falcons, WWE and The Colts. I have only 80 swagbucks and 17 from the others which are useless.

The swagbucks you earn at the fansites are not useless - you can use them at the fansites where you earned them. Just go to that specific fansite, click on PRIZES at the top of the screen, then look at the available prizes. If I haven't earned a bunch at any one fansite I usually use my points on the swagstakes because some are just one or two or three points.

I kind of like searching on a fansite because I think I earn more points there than on the main swagbucks site. And if you're a real fan of the fansite there are some really neat (and unique) items that you can win.

You guys noticing the same thing too? I believe the theory behind this is that as more people sign up to their website, they can't afford to pay everyone using the same frequency.

In order to sustain giving the same amount of SB, they would need to increase their revenue from sponsors/advertisers (which I assume their revenue growth is not keeping up with # of new users signing up).

You can use 69 giftcards at a time, there is not limit.

Dus is not a word, you should have typed does.

When you apply a gift card at any store in the known universe it comes off the total which is the item + taxes + shipping (if applicable) amazon is not special or unique, it is the same as every other vendor out there.

I have tried to use them instead of google and their searches are no good. They fill up the page with "sponsored" results which are usless to the query. Not to mention sometimes there is problems accessing some sites through them but not through google.

Eh, I'd be surprised if anyone actually -uses- the search engine.

As one user mentioned awhile back, you just do a basic search ie: red flag deals and bookmark the search results page (ie: http://swagbucks.com/?t=w&p=1&q=red+flag+deals ) and get used to clicking the first link.

Do this for a few sites you frequent (I use 3) and you're good to go. You just have to get used to the extra click, but in time it becomes second nature. I think I'm on my 10th Amazon.CA GC from them just using this.

Anyone else notice a decline in the # of sb given out from searching? I can barely win 1 sb from searching alone. When I first signed up, I was able to win 2, 3, and 5 sb at once and also multiple times in a day. However, in the past few months, its been 1 sb only.

I find it quite easy to get a swagbuck (If it were any easier I'd be getting 2 amazon.ca cards a week lol) I only have 2 people that search from which I refered, and I get a constant 8-12 swag bucks a day total. I don't know if this helps, but I find after getting my first swag buck in the morning, I usually don't search again till the afternoon in which I get another, then stop searching till night time and I usually get another 1-3 swagbucks again. So yea, when I stoped searching constantly, I ended up getting more swagbucks.

Hey I have a question. I have an active swagbucks account that im currently using, but my brother also made an account on my computer under my referral. The rules say only 1 account per household, and his name is still under my friends as 0. I emailed them and they said they have noted that he is a dead account and he does not need to be removed. They probably log searches using your computer's IP address for auditing purposes. If more than one person uses the same IP they can find out.

Yes it's an issue, because SB may think that you're signing in for your friends.

For those who apply the code and it doesn't work, with the site stating to please enter a valid code.... I can almost guarantee the reason it's not working for them is because they are copying and pasting the code rather than typing it in. For some reason unbeknown to me it sometimes makes a difference when you copy and paste from redflagdeals, including some kind of hidden formatting or a space at the end of the code which will throw back an invalid code to you. Now if you put in the code and it says "this code is now expired" then and ONLY then can you say without a doubt it's expired. Obviously most don't know this, thus we constantly get people in the other thread reporting it's expired when really, it hasn't expired yet, you just need to type it in.

That means you entered the code correctly, but too late, so you got the expired notice. The post above was referring to people who had most likely typed/copied the code incorrectly and received the phrase "Please enter a valid promotion code", so they assumed it was expired or were not even sure if it was a code.

Copying and pasting codes has always worked for me. It's when I type that I make mistakes :)

Not that I personally ever said they were annoying, but the whole point of swagbucks is it's supposed to be as non-intrusive as possible. You use their search engine instead of google, and other than ads being displayed, it's your normal surfing experience.

This kinda goes against that.

Personally, I'm getting free stuff, I can take 5s to enter in a code 2x a day or so.

i usually win twice or three times a day. once in the morning, once in the afternoon and also once at night.
plus sometimes i can catch the code in time and I have a friend earning 2-3 SB a day for me.

I think they are trying to get around sites like this one that post codes that's why they have become so time sensitive. If you look at the terms you're not really supposed to share codes.

I got 32 referrals and they all stop searching, all had like 0-50 mostly 5 and 10.

Its alittle hard to get referrals but once you get them they most likely will stop searching after a week or so.

You should email them and find out why. A lot of people have posted on the facebook forum that they got reactivated after emailing them.

I actually login on different computers and sometimes even share computers with my friends who also use swagbucks, I don't see a problem when you explain your case.

Try setting your Twitter client to refresh every 2 mins. I've been able to get most of the codes just before they expired.

I don't think there is an expiry date attached to the gift card. And yes, you can stack the gift cards.

They were having a problem with this a few weeks ago, but it was supposedly resolved.

Did you look at your total on the "My SwagBucks" page? I've been short 1 SB on the main display, but in the "My SwagBucks" total, the total is correct.

If I got 20 SB per week, I would be pretty happy! The only way you'll be getting more than that is if you get some referrals. Lately I've been getting about 2-4 per day, depending on whether I get the swagcodes or not. Generally I get 2 from searching, one at the beginning of the day and one near the end of the day. Sometimes I might get something in the middle of the day.

Don't spend time searching just to try and get swagbucks, it is a waste of time. Once you get one, you probably won't win for a while, so only use it if you really want to. I've been using it for most of my searches, and for my purposes the results are not bad. Sometimes I do have to go to google, but not too often.

I don't even bother searching. I always have a session open, so in the morning, I will do a refresh, if no swagbuck, I will do other things, read email, go back to do refresh, surf around, go back and refresh. I always get 1 swagbuck. I do same thing in afternoon, and then again in evening. I will get 2-3 a day.

Question to people who gets an alert from that other thread on their phone. You say you get charged for incoming. Wouldn't you be losing money because you get charged for incoming, and there is a delay, and by the time you enter your code, it's expired, so no swagbuck. I receive my alert to my email so no biggie if it's too late for me.

Yup thats about what it takes, takes me about 22-25 days to get enough for a $5 cert. On average I'd say I get six 2 bucks, two 3 bucks, and two 5 bucks every month. The very ocassional 10 buck payout, and I've had one 20 buck payout. Every other day is a 1 buck payout.

I've been on for 3 months, and have recieved 4 gift card and am half way to my 4th.

I think its worth it as I spend maybe 1 minute a day doing it. $5 for 22-25 minutes of work I'm fine with because I don't miss that minute a day and its very easy work.
