Hello,
I would like to sell an LCD Screen for the Lenovo Thinkpad X61. These screens are on ebay for $250USD + $30 shipping. I purchased the item from ebay user browngranite (you can search thinkpad forums and see that he is a reputable vendor of thinkpad LCDs).
**BONUS** I ordered a screen protector from invisible shields and put it on the screen. I will leave it on the screen for the buyer to have for free.
Installation:
-Installing the screen is quite easy and takes about 30 minutes if you know what you are doing. I can offer help to install it since I have done it a few times already.
-IBM has videos online to show you how to open disassemble every part of the thinkpad:

-The hardware manual also shows pictures of how to disassemble the LCD:
http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-62866
Description:
-BOEHYDIS HV121P01-101
-This is the standard screen that IBM/Lenovo uses for their sxga X series thinkpads. You can confirm this if you research thinkpad forums.
-The screen itself is in perfect condition. It has no dead pixels and the image is very nice. Its hard to go back to XGA resolution after using it.
-The screen has nice vivid brightness with 190nit. (Standard XGA is 195nit and the Multitouch XGA is 150nit).
-no software/BIOS modifications are necessary...just plug and play.
Reason for Selling:
-I was trying to buy an X61 but ended up getting an x61 tablet so this screen will not work because it does not have the tablet digitizer glass. However, I did test the screen in my x61t just to verify it was working. Pics are below
Price:
$330 obo
