For those that missed the game, here's your chance to get it at a pretty cheap price. I like it even though it wasn't as "advanced" as the PC series. Also, it was much shorter to finish a game.

Please note that you will get the bilingual manuals however (French & English).

Enjoy!

As a previous Civ fan all the way back the the first that just doesn't have as much time as he used to, I've got to say this is a great game. For under $30 you can't go wrong if you liked the previous ones.

This game made a surprisingly good transition to consoles, and yet I still find it too shallow for its own good. A little more depth and customization would of went a long way with this game.

this game will drop to $19.99 for sure...
this is one of the few ps3 games that seem to keep dropping in price quickly.

Awesome game. About 75% of the time spent on my ps3 has been on this game, definitely over 75 hours logged.

Awesome, been waiting for this game to come up cheap. Make sure you use the $10 off $40 coupon - pickedup this game and 2 books for like $30. Score!

I've never played this but it sounds tempting. I'm wondering if it's worth waiting for the price to drop even further as I'm in no real rush to play.

good thing I didnt pick this up from Toys R Us b2g1 free deal it was still labelled as 49.99/59.99 at that time.

picked up Civilization IV® Complete Pack from steam during the holiday sale, still haven't tried it. Should I jump on this now, or wait until I have finish the previous series? :\

depends how much you like the depth of micromanagement of the pc versions. this one, as previously mentioned is drastically 'dumbed' down, but is still fun. a game will last probably a few hours compared to the marathons of the pc versions.
in short, for you, i'd play those and by the time you may want to get this, the price should be even lower.

Its clearly not $35 anymore seeing as they sell it for $34.99 now, so it should probably be around $16 now.

One complete game only lasts a few hours?? This is certainly not the Civilization I've used to... Even without the micromanagement, I guess not too much tech and new units development then. I'd wait for it to drop down to $19 before getting then :)

This is a great game, paid more than $28.99 for it. Was worth it though :)

I love the PC vesionand I like the console version. I play the console version when I want to finish within 2-3 hours. Otherwise, I take my time with the PC version.

I had it shipped to my door within 2 days... wait the 2 days and get 2 books for free. Bit of a no brainer, unless your Civ craving is through the roof and you need that fix.

I wouldn't really say it's 'dumbed down'. The console game was intentionally designed from the start for shorter play sessions, rather than trying to recreate the several day marathon games of the original civ.
