Not entirely sure where to post this. Just curious, what kind of market is there for comic books?

I'm going through stuff in my old room at my parents' house and finding things I can get rid of (or that I can still use, if applicable)...and comic books are the biggest thing.

I've got stuff ranging from superheroes to star wars. Not a huge collection, and by no means are any of the collections complete (unless it's a stand-alone issue). The condition also ranges from great to terrible.

I'm not a big comic book reader, so just wondering how many people out there are actually looking for comic books.

well for starters I don't read comic books, however manga is a different story.

I know comic book shoppes buy people's comics, but usually they only take the ones that are in good condition, and that are old or rare, like first editions. They also likely won't pay you as much as their worth.

You could try selling it all as a lot on ebay, or craigslist or kijiji or whatever.

Yeah I was thinking of doing it via Kijiji. Less fees vs ebay / shipping.

I was just curious if anyone really was still buying them (i.e. would I even get any replies, etc.).

Well it depends. I read them for the story. It also depends on the comic. If you got a mint comic and don't mind trying to milk and extra dollar or two try to get some of those "graded" from cgc.

Feel free to PM me I love talking about comics.
