This is the cheapest I've ever seen. Even Costco has it for $38.

Wonder if the likes of future shop or best buy will match.

Nice price for those able to get this in-store!

Unfortunately, not an option for me so went for purchasing from amazon.ca for $39.99 - $10 coupon ;) (described in several threads here) for a pre-tax price of $29.99 . Bumped order with $10.99 item and got free shipping. Already received, no problems!

that's a good deal at 29.99

at least those bastards at Intuit are giving you more returns this year, although they did raise the price.

good article....also provides some other options

You won't be able to update or netfile though. Every year I have bought the program and I do it without the first update I get one amount for my taxes back and then I update and it comes out another. I think they do this on purpose so that those people who get the file from the torrents aren't getting the right one.

I think the updates reflect the federal/provincial budget changes, which typically come out after they release the hard copies of the disk to retail.

Yeah, getting a tax filing programme - which will take all my personal information - off a torrent sounds........risky.

+1 on the risk factor. This is one piece of software I buy every year.

If you don't feel like driving to Sig, and you have pc points you can get this delivered to your door for 40,000 points ($40). Just login to the pcpoints website and the offer is there. I ordered a copy and it arrived in less than a week.

get studiotax. It's free.

It's better than Quicktax because it's not crippled. It is very professionally produced and does everything.

Once you try this you won't bother with going to the store and reading the fine print on the back of the boxes trying to figure out if the version of tax software you are looking at will be able to do what you want.
