Anyone using them?
What are some good feeds?
Ways of finding new feeds?
Best client for WinXP?

I'm currently fooling around with Sharpreader which needs the .NET framework to run. I'm subscribed to Slashdot, Wired, theRegister and Fark. There's not many options in Sharpreader. I'd like to be able to strip off all the graphics and read the stories in plain text. Also I'd like to be able to setup permanent rules/filters for topics.

Right now I'm not too seriously involved since only about 1/3 of the sites I regularly visit offer a feed. I'm sure if RFD offered a feed I'd be hardcore into it. :P

I've been looking at Sharpreader. The latest one allows Atom support which is being used at blogger.com. The other one I looked at is NewsCrawler but I think it is shareware. I'm mainly doing RSS onto my palm pilot so I got the news on the go.

Yahoo has a bunch of feeds for news which is pretty good. Also Shacknews, Lockergnome.

I've been quite happy with SharpReader as well.

i use newsgator. it integrates the rss feeds into one folder in outlook. since I use outlook for all my emails, and since it automatically searches for new posts, it works great!

I like RSS Bandit. It's an open source project that is similar to SharpReader with a few more features.

I use the ones here that integrate into Sleipnir ( tabbed IE shell) and IE as an explorer bar:

In Japanese but still easy to figure out.
