I recently got an upgrade phone from rogers for like 30 bucks.. it was samsung A7** model.. pretty good. and one month later the screen broke.. and took it to the rogers store in november for repair, and was using the loaner phone.. and 4 months later, they call me and say that it's not covered under warranty and i gotta pay 150 bucks for repair...

is there any places that repair this for cheaper, cuz if not i don't wanna pay 150, it would be stupid right.. and if i don't get it repaired i gotta pay like 30 bucks for it to be shipped back... should i/can i not pay the 30 bucks and say, you keep it?

i gave u the location of the mall, the mall is not a store, you have to actually do some research and contact the venders directly and see what each individual vendor charges or even if they are capable of doing it.. the mall alone has no set price, its up to the individual stores.

Jesus $150!!!!! that's robbery.

People sell phones (even new ones., heck I have some) for $150 on the RFD BST.

Just get a new phone, and learn your lesson lol. DON'T SIT ON YOUR PHONE!!! :D.

AFAIK, you can tell them to keep the phone, Tell them, if they had responded to you in a timely manner (ie 2 weeks), you would've been interested to get the phone back, but since they DRAGGED THEIR ASSES FOR FOUR CONFOUNDED MONTHS!!!! That you'll be damned if they get another penny out of you. Of course if you're BOUND to pay for return shipping that's another matter altogether DOH!!!

Okay, if it's really 4 months later, call Rogers, say "cancel my phone" (you won't have to) and tell your story to the person who answers. See what happens, and post back here.

haha.. throughout the 4 month wait, i called rogers but they kept sayin they can't do anything because i dropped it off at a rogers plus store and that they are independent.. so i don't think they will do anything..

and i'm already on a retentions plan...

Why ask for advice at all?

It doesn't matter if you're on a retentions plan. The retentions department helps people ignored by other departments. It may even take calling a few times.
