You use to be able to find prices of $4.99 for 2 12-Pack's at Shoppers Drug Mart (and other retailers as well) but with an increase in the price of Coca-Cola products, that price hasn't been seen any time recently.

Currently, the sale price of Coke products at SDM is $6.99 for 2.

Where is everyone buying their Coke products and how much are they paying? Looking for the best deal at this point!

Side Note: Why am I so concerned? Because this change in pop prices is more significant than the changing prices of gas, even if you filled 50 litres worth. I hope people realize that when they're grocery shopping.

Unfortunately, we're not far off. It's about $5-6 as a regular price, a slim sale at 2 for $9.99 or $8.99 ... this week we got lucky with 2 for $6.99.

I only drink Diet Coke. I don't drink booze, tea, coffee, just Diet Coke so I am always watching the prices.

I have found you have to watch the flyers and watch for the sales. Often Zellers, or Food Basics will have a deal on a 6 pack of the 910 ml (I think that's the size...the larger bottles) for around $2.99 which is a good price but it seems whenever Zellers does, they have none of the diet. grrrrrrrrr

It seems Pepsi has a lot more sale prices but I prefer Diet Coke over Diet Pepsi but in a pinch, and to save the money, I will buy the Pepsi product. Problem is, my husband doesn't like the Diet Pepsi.

Right now I'm down south and the Walmarts here have a good deal on an 8 pack of bottles, for $2.99 but that is of course in US$. Oh, just remembered, Walmart typically has the regular price of the bottles at around $2.99 or $3.50. I prefer bottles over cans of soda. They don't have that tinny taste.

Last time I purchased a case of coke was in the summer. I remember it used to be $2.99 or sometimes it was $3.33 a case at Walmart.

Right now Zellers has a special 6x710ml bottles at 2 for $7 (must buy multiples of 2 for this price) or 4 2L bottles for $5 (must buy multiples of 4).

You should also check Costco as they have big flats of 24.

Costco (and Sams Club, not that it matters now) typically have the highest "regular" prices for pop. I don't see it go on sale that often either.

Keep an eye on Canadian Tire, they occasionally have deals on 12 packs for $2.50 to $3.00. And it's usually Coke products too.

Would prefer cases of coke, as opposed to 2L or 710ml bottles. We prefer the freshness and convenience of a can in our household :)

Freshness?! That's too funny!

Right now if you have to buy, you would be best off with the SDM sale. Otherwise, I find that prices for pop drop/go on sale when it's summertime.

Well compared to a 2L bottle that will go flat after you use it a few times ... so yes, same quality each and every time you open the can ;)

We bought a case of 32 Coke Zero at Costco with a voucher this week for $7 and change. Didn't see the regular coke but I wasn't looking but I imagine it was the same price. The voucher was for $4 off I think.

Edit: This was in Kingston but I think it's a province-wide thing.

Remember if you buy at SDM you get 2010 extra points until the 27th.

So with the $6.99/2 12s for four (limit) and $8.99/2 12s after you get the extra points.

RCSS has had the best prices here in London lately. If you don't mind the bottles they've had 6/710ml for $2.99 which is the equivalent of a 12 pack of cans. Those are in the price lock section of their flyer so it may last a while.
A week or two ago they had 20 pack flats of cans for, I think, $4.99. So keep an eye out there.

Shoppers almost always has the best prices, when it's on sale. Otherwise the deal at Zellers is probably the best you will find right now.

good thing i don't buy pop. i just buy carbonated water - 99cents (it used to be 79cents not too long ago) at No Frills. Add any kind of juice or flavour I want - orange juice, squeezed lemon, cranberry. I get the bubbles, it is healthier than drinking coke or juice (since it's diluted juice) and it saves me money (drinking diluted juice).
