I have 2 of these and they work great.

Belkin Surge Protector (http://canadacomputers.com/index.php?do=ShowProduct&cmd=pd&pid=019221&cid=PS.405)

One of the great things about this protector is that the outlets are spaced out to be able to use all 8 outlets with a variety of different plugs like AC Adapter plugs.

Where in Toronto are you located? At Major Mac and 404 is the Philips store which has surge protectors for even cheaper ($20). Or if you have a costco membership, there's a belkin one with 8 outlets for $20.

thanx guys, I'm actually near the CC kennedy location, they don't seem to have the Belkin that you posted there but there are several others around that price there, so I may drop by today.

thanx for the quick responses !!!!!!!!

It is called Ativa, but is apparently made by Belkin.

I haven't had one issue with it.
