Okay so we are moving to a new home and I'm up to my XXX in things to do (like running all over looking at furniture etc etc. Hope to gain from someone else's work and if so will be very appreciative.

Need a recommendation for a 40-42 inch LCD.

Where is best place to buy Costco, Future BB, others?

Would like it to be something that will provide quality picture when also used with SD as it will probably be used as a second TV down the road and I am not interested in renting an HD DVR and an HD receiver, just want to use the standard digital box supplied by Cogeco. Also can 120hz be found for under $1000.

hey,
your gonna have an extremely hard time finding a 120hz hdtv for under 1000$. maybe if you wait a few more months, but i doubt you ll find anything now.
as for a good hdtv under 1000$, i would suggest the Samsung 40" 1080p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV** (LN40A500) .
however, it is 60hz
i have a 32" and its amazing. i watch SD tv on it all the time, just use the HD for my video games and bluerays..
the tv i suggested retails for about $800.00
