Hi,
I returned L4D to a user and he has confirmed he received it back via Canada post on 2.20.09 and we agreed that he will refund me back the money because the game was already registered to his Steam account and its useless to me.
It has been almost 3 wks and still no refund, everytime I send him a PM he responds by saying he will EMT the money back to me "tomorrow" because he is busy at work.... still I have recieved nothing.... I sent him another PM 3 days ago... no response....
What should I do??

Double check to make sure he read your PM. Check to see when he logged on last.
Then send him a PM and tell him your intention to expose him and leave negative feedback. Give him a deadline.
Make sure he read that PM. Then post the details of the transaction in this thread.
There is no excuse for not sending you the EMT, I am sure he has access to the internet at work. It only takes a few minutes to send the money back.

Send another PM, make sure you put in a deadline. If he does not comply, then carry out your threat.
You probably paid him via EMT or PayPal, so make sure you send him an email along with the PM
The deadline is key, as it is fair warning.

Post the users name so others can be weary of him in future dealings as well.
Good luck with your situation.

Actually, no, you should have disclosed this in your post. You should also know that selling Steam accounts is against their TOS, and against the rules here.

Then you should really find somewhere else to BST. We don't want people here who can't be bothered to look after their trades, or make good on their promises.

So change the password.

Threatening a negative for a deal that went bad because of you? I think you just made it on everyone's Do Not Trade list.

Why would I use your CD KEY, I couldn't even install the game with it.

Nvida, you can not go leaving a negative feedback to Jungler because he left you one. From what we can tell, he held up his end of the deal and does not deserve a negative feedback.
The status of the game should have been specified in your post, and if it was not I agree that Joker should have made sure. That being said, if you know it was still in use you should have told Joker. That is what a good seller would have done IMO.
To be honest, I will never buy a game that needs an account/cd key to play again from RFD, and recommend other users not to do it.
I bought a used WC3 on here, where the seller told me he was the only user and that the CD key was not in use anymore. I get home and it works for a few days then the CD key starts to be in use very frequently. I asked him about it, and he said he let a friend borrow it and that he is using it to. He told me I could have a refund. Instead I wanted him to tell his friend not to use it anymore, but instead his friend or him because I believe he was ********ting me instead changed the CD Key name to "HAHA you will never get on".
To get the refund, I would have had to meet him way out in Scarbrough where the deal was done which really was not worth it for me. At the time RFD did not have feedback, but he would have gotten it for lying to me. Oh well.

right but if you promised to deliver something by a certain date, you should do it. It's not about being busy or revolving your life around this forum...it's about keeping your word.
