advice plz - NETBOOKS

Hi,

I was wondering what the cheapest netbook available is. The -only- purpose of this netbook is for internet surfing. So far, I've found this $279 at dell:

Thats a really low price...
The next cheapest netbook would be $80 more:
1Gig Memory (instead of 512MB)
12Gb HDD (instead of 4Gb)
Webcam included (webcam add $20 on Dell)

Tempted to order that myself as I almost pulled the trigger on the last one when they had it for $349 alas I'll skip again in favour of seeing what Apple has in store for their entry into the market. It's going to be expensive but also incorporate a touch screen. Screen size is pretty well determined to be 10" so a touch screen that size is pretty manageable if not perfect. I'll most likely cave and get one knowing what a big Apple bloviator I am.

I'm ready to pay my Apple tax for such a beast too.

Despite their past protestations that they're not going to build such a machine, I can't see how they can resist such a hot market sector that's right up their alley.
