I've just spent the better part of the last hour baffled.
This slimeball pm's me a massive lowball of $75 on a $350 sale earlier today. Okay no harm, I try to be diplomatic and figure fine, person is Dec'08-might be a n00b, so I'll take it in stride, explain the nuances, and hope the lesson is learned.
Doing some research (all of 2 posts worth lol) I discover this n00b has a FS thread on a $450 item and says "no lowballs". Niiiiice. So is perfectly fine lowballing others but just doesn't want it himself.
Okay, here's where it gets exciting. Then this guy claims his 'friend' told him he got a great deal and only paid 'between $75-$125' Niiiice. I check with this "friend" who subsequently discloses that cellphoneSTAR just randomly pm'd him out of the blue (wonder who else he randomly pm'd from my feedback) phishing for details, and just made up that figure. HEHE. And it's not over, I keep getting emails from this person. Sheesh, I mean take a hint already. I'm not selling you anything even if you paid me DOUBLE.
Guess this cellphoneSTAR is desperate to get a deal and will stoop to any level to trick you into accepting his lowballs and stories. I'm a poor student and this is all I can afford. Yeah well having two lines on Fido and a third en route (as per his HOFO Signature) I'd say you can afford to pay what somethings worth and not scam people.
DO NOT BE CONNED. WATCH OUT!!!!
Frankly, for such behaviour, banning as well as a negative feedback should be permitted.
