So I'm looking to sell my car because I no longer need it and its a waste to continue to pay insurance on it.

I was wondering what I need to provide to the buyer?

Heres what I gather:
- Make, Model, Colour, Pictures, Milage, Price, Options added

I figured from Autotrader.ca that my car is worth around $3,500, looking at comparable cars (1998 Toyota Corolla)

Also, where is the best place to sell my car?

Autotrader.ca?
RFD BST?

Is there a place that I can just drop off my car and then they'll sell it for me and then give me the money after (obviously I'd have to pay a fee) Would I get completely ripped off with this option?

Also, should I get my car detailed first? It seems like it might be good so that my car looks and smells clean, no one wants to buy a dusty car right?

Any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks : )

Good start here: http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/vehicle/used.shtml#selling

In terms of ads, try BST, Craigslist, Kijiji first, or perhaps networking through family and friends.

If I take it to a used car lot, will they take a VERY big chunk of the value of the car away from me?
