The espionage "artists" at AutoSpies weaseled their way onto the New York Auto Show floor before the official press days kick off and snapped a singular shot of the Acura ZDX crossover ahead of its official unveiling tomorrow morning. Acura's X6-fighter looks slightly less menacing than the teasers suggested, and the silver hue does an admirable job of integrating Acura's new corporate grille into the jacked-up hatch's shape. All the official details – including production dates and drivetrains – will be revealed tomorrow at 11 AM EST, but expect the basic shape to carry over when the ZDX goes on sale this fall.

This is a crossover? I thought a crossover is more of an SUV alike. This looks like a regular sedan to me.

the new acura is fugly.

the new BMW is also fugly and not functional. i test drove it and hated the low roofline. i'm not tall but still i felt claustrophobic. it's really a 4 seater with very little cargo space, which is a shame for such a huge a$$ car.

However I don't find the rest of it to be bad, I actually like it. Just change that damn front grille Acura! And not just on this model, on all of them!

As for the X6, I like that too. For those that aren't a fan, that's what the X5 is for...

I think the X6 looks good but impractical just like the Infiniti EX and FX. I guess this Acura is no diff. Don't understand why the trend is moving away from gas sucking big SUV, now into this kinda big SUV without the utility and seat 4. Not interested even I have the budget for such cars. I'd rather go with a sport coupe, a 4 door sport sedan or a SUV with usable trunk.

I'm disappointed, definitely will not be test driving the new ZDX anytime soon.

I think it looks pretty good, minus the grill, which has been ruining all acuras lately.

I think ALL new Acuras w/ the bucktoth grille look hideous, BUT, I did see a few pics of someones' new TL with the grille painted to match the rest of the car (car was black, and the grille was painted black to match, or maybe it was black chromed). Looked AWESOME.

If I were to get a ZDX, it'd be in black and I'd spend the money to colour-match the grille. It'd be one nice looking car/crossover in my opinion.

the zdx was designed by a Canadian, I believe the person was a torontonian as well (will have to check the acura magazine I get)...its a initial release pic, bare minimum, once there are upgrades available I'm sure the cuv will look better.
