I'm moving to the UK and I'm gonig to be selling my PS3 because of the power requirements 120v/240v, but I'm wondering if I need to sell my games too, or does it not matter anymore. I remember back in the day with PSX, there was a difference between PAL and NTSC, but to my knowledge HDMI is all the same resolution anyways...

you can still use the PS3 there, you would just need the adapter thing...

The one thing about the PS3 I don't like is that it won't play PAL dvd's. The 360 will. So any PAL disc thats region 0 (all regions) doesn't work. It's a shame.

The newer 80GB/160GB PS3 are region free. Just look at this chart: (Look under the feature and you shall see NTSC or Pal or both)

:razz::razz:All that means is that those to models are available in both PAL and NTSC, nothing to do with region locks.
