Is there a way to set Windows Explorer to open up to a certain directory the moment you launch it? Or will it always default to My Computer?

I tried making a shortcut for just the directory in question, but when I launch W.E. that way, the folder list (with the sub-directories) doesn't come up, just that one directory I have the shortcut pointing to...

TIA!

I don't think there's a way to change it.

One thing that you might consider doing is creating shortcuts to commonly used folders, and setting them up as shortcuts in the C drive. Windows has . set as Users/Username, \ for C:, """ for My Computer, so you might want to try just using those.

Really? They're supposed to be default to My Documents, not My Computer ;)
